They didn’t insta ban corrode in one of their recent matches. They hovered. I think they have something prepared for that map (pun intended if you know what I mean 😂🫣).
I too have gotten very comfortable being disappointed by Prx over the past couple years. But honestly, the defeat was not as crushing for them as it would’ve been with any other team. Geng and Prx are very close friends. Prx was smiling and laughing while they were losing that day. That match specifically was not a fuck up by Prx. Usually, they make horrible ego decisions and mess up. They played well against Geng, their micro plays were coordinated and they always pushed together to trade each other. Geng just had incredible performance. They played better than even when they won masters. Prx respects how geng played and I don’t think it broke their mental.
They were being beaten by literally anyone, but with the new roster changes, new performance coaches, forsaken asking mini to help with their macro play, etc. I think they are happy with their own improvement and they will take the loss as a learning experience. At least I hope so. They have a new direction and it takes a little time to adjust to new players. I think they will win tomorrow. Even if something continues to under perform in some maps. Forsaken is incredibly motivated right now, it’s so nice to see him thrive. They got this. And if something gets back in form, they have the potential to be in the finals with G2. I really hope I get a G2 vs PRX.
