However, there are better initiators than him in terms of utility, every time I watch Shao I'm incredibly impressed by his mechanics but his util is utterly average imo
He's also doesn't have the best stats for every category, just overall

However with Mako,
Mako is not only the best controller utility-wise, but he also saves DRX singlehandedly all. the. time. His impact is always visible even in losses

Split was before the rework, any solid team could attack well on bind. The game naturally being defender sided doesn't necessarily mean that the map was defender sided

ascent remains statistically the highest defender maps and crazy defender comebacks are common

I dont get why they removed bind tbh, it was the most balanced map
