I agree G2 played well today, but EDG also played terribly, very out of form, not getting duels they're usually good for, bans being weird and overly relying on getting picks amidst all kinds of chaos was hoping for a third map but with how EDG were looking today, it was probably better for them to go next

Ah sorry, I didn't make that clear, it's not the agents that are meta rn that need a rework, a nerf should be good enough, what I meant was Riot should rework some of their maps that have certain "must pick" agents kinda like Viper and Breeze or Brim and Fracture, etc., like they nerfed viper because of her pick rate when she herself wasn't even overpowered or anything, it's because the majority of the maps in the map pool favor her.

Meant teams in general, not just PRX, but yeah... unfortunately that's how it is here in vct, results and consistency are all that matters so you can qualify, it's also why PRX stopped using Reyna on a few of their map comps like bind. It's really why Riot needs to rework some of them big time

Yeah I remember that Paper Rex game, and while people saw Yoru's potential there internationally, iirc sen ran the yoru on bind that same year or something after seeing Paper Rex's success, but his strength wasn't consistent enough to see results so people stuck with the Raze Skye or Raze Gekko when Gekko was in the meta because bind is a post-plant heavy map from what we've seen

Yoru was untouched and talked about as the worst agent in pro play for so long and now people are saying he's op because of how many teams are using him. I agree he's absolutely broken now, but it's not because of him himself per se, but the breach/tejo/sova combination is what makes him very broken right now

They definitely don't take it on purpose, because if they did the one that should've been taking tech pauses this match is EDG. TenZ has been talking about the state of the VCT pcs on Lan being subpar for a while now, but a lot of people just take his criticism for granted because he cries a lot about the game or whatever when we see now he wasn't just being persistent about it for no reason and is an actual problem, so blame Riot for all these tech pauses, monitoring the players does nothing when 99% of the time it ain't even their fault

Yoru's not just a typical duelist, a lot of people call his role as a sort of Duelist/Initiator type and they couldn't be more right. I feel like Kangkang thrives on Agents with strong entry potential right off the bat and with purely offensive ults. Yoru's ult and overall is a little more different than his usual Duelist picks, Raze, Neon and Jett that you can't just use it willy nilly and get kills. It really works best with util and teammates to have good impact.

I suggest for teams going up against EDG to deprive this man of credits and guns every time someone duels him because it always looks like he's going to win them no matter what gun he has. T1 were shooting back like hell too, but this guy just kept his cool all throughout the damn series. A lot of people thought the Pearl decider map was a throw from Muggle especially after T1's dominant performance against DRX on it, but historically Pearl was always one of EDG's staple maps, so when I saw this map be decider, I knew it was going to be special, and that last map sure delivered. I need to see a revenge match in the finals with these two teams

Also isn't it insane how a good amount of nail biter maps this year is on Pearl? MIBR vs Sen, G2 vs EDG and now T1 vs EDG. Love it or hate it, Pearl is a blast to watch

EDG by no means have a weak pearl, and a lot of EDG moments are from this map, even in this event, don't forget Chichoo's 1v4 on G2 in Swiss, and one of Kang Kang's crazy flicks onto CNed in Masters Tokyo while he was still on NaVi, from what I know, majority of EDG's performances on Pearl on International LANs were good performances. It'll be a good match

That's just preference, it's easier to hit a cracked looking hospital flick with high sens in general cause you have to move less, yes, but that doesn't mean you can't be cracked on low sens. Just look at Kang Kang, Demon1, Alfajer, Chichoo and Kaajak. All these players cracked as hell mechanically and have around the same edpi average, all use low sens, and I guarantee you that if you've seen some of their plays, you wouldn't even think they were using low sens with how fast they are

He's definitely one of the best players this current year with his performances across the board, I don't know what he's been eating lately but he's definitely stepped up even more in Bangkok, maybe it's the Thai blood buff
