it is a country based tournament, meaning the "teams" will be 5 players and coaching staff from the same nation. like south korea will be a team with players and coaching staff must be representing south korea. with the rule being that no more than 3 players in a team can be of same org. so for example if 3 players of DRX are chosen to represent korea, then they cannot add a 4th DRX player and have to pick another player from another ORG.
secondly, the way invites will work is that they'll allocate points to players and then compare them, the top 16 nations will get a direct invite to nations cup while the rest will be decided by 2 wild card entires and 14 nations making it through qualifiers.
thridly, points will be allocated to players based on their performances until the deadline day of june 21. which means it'll cover performances of all VCT tournaments VCT kickoffs, masters santiago, VCT stage 1 and Masters London.
