Way too egotistical and still think they can beat every team possible. Wrong mindset, a bit lazy, lack synergy (all aim no brain). They are still stuck in 2020. Wardell needs to stop one-tricking agents and play a wider variety, also depending less on the operator. Their economy is always in shambles after many lost rounds due to his reliance on it. Subroza needs to learn how to clear corners and stop playing so aggressively by himself. Also, I agree here that he has a very bad work ethic and wrong mindset. Corey is a complete duelist baiter with 90% non-impact kills; epitome of all aim no brain. Gotta fix playstyle but has a good mindset. Rossy is a little bit too inexperienced to IGL a full-on team, but I think with plenty of time he can improve very easily. I personally think he has the most potential of all the players here. Levi is too average and gets outclassed by most other support players in NA. Needs to improve in all aspects. I very much agree that TSM needs to participate in smaller tournaments to get more experience, especially with a nearly complete revamped team and team comp. Always has been a tier two team since mid-2021 but still think they are tier one from 2020. Also maybe stream less and practice more.

they seem the weakest after the departure of drone and hazed.

TLDR bc yall too lazy: TSM is pretty bad and too egotistical. need to play in small tourneys.

I prefer Riot buffing weaker agents rather than nerfing stronger ones for balance changes simply to create unique diversity. Playing with reworked and buff characters is always more entertaining than sticking with ones that recently got heavily nerfed, and it also makes each individual agent more unique to their abilities.

Smokes: I don't think Astra or Viper need a nerf, but instead Omen and Brim need buffs. Omen needs a pretty decent rework for his ult, which I think is the weakest ult in the game. His smokes are barely unique to him except for the fact that they recharge very slowly and can sometimes be placed in certain wall spots. His TP seems the weakest (reworked Yoru TPs, Chamber insta-TP). Brim just needs a rework on his stim and he can easily find a niche to fill in.

Duelists: No duelist needs a nerf right now (yes even Jett). Phoenix obviously needs a huge buff/rework in all areas. His wall is simply inferior to Neon's, his flashes are considered the weakest in the game, the molly is only helpful in certain scenarios, and the ult is actually not bad. Maybe Reyna could get an extra soul orb to counter the phoenix buffs but I'm not too sure with this one. Yoru is already getting a rework, and Raze is good where she is.

Sentinels: Poor Sage is always getting nerfed ever since the early days of Valorant. Her heal should be buffed a little bit simply contend a much more powerful Skye heal. Killjoy is dominant enough, and Cypher should contend her spot by getting a better Cypher Cam or more tripwires. Chamber is fine where he is as of now (most likely going to be countered by the faster Neon playstyle we saw).

Initiators: I honestly think all agents in this field are fairly balanced and play their unique role. Breach, Kay/O, and Skye play a fair role in creating space and flashing for their teams, while Sova also provides extra info-gathering utility.

All of these are my personal opinions.

At least for NA, I think both Jcstani and Hazed are up there.

Who do you guys think has the cleanest aim in Val? Not flicky or aggressive shaky aim, but smooth one taps. I'd have Rara and Aleksandar up there, maybe Scourge. Scream is really clean too.

Talk to her about it. Even if she says no, you have something off your chest. If she really is your soulmate and you miss the opportunity, what are the chances you will ever meet her again? I always say this, but you live life once. What's life with a few twists and turns, mistakes being made, but most importantly having fun and loving. Tell me how it goes after. GL :)

Hard to compromise isn't it? A whole VCT match, possibly responsible for the loss of millions of prize money. Riot did the best they could've, and I provided a more fair ruling. Just handing VK the win is what a lot of die-hard fans want, but punishment was necessary for an exploit. Look at both sides first. Fair for BOTH sides, not just one.

posted about 2 years ago

No not losing. We learn from losing, even if it does tend to cause some fustration. But it isn't ok to dwell in the past over an issue we can't control. No one is "OK" after losing. Don't take it to heart, ESPECIALLY if we aren't playing. I'm not telling you to settle, I 'm telling you to look at different perspectives if you feel wronged. Everyone has opinions, and it's ok.

You missed the second part of my last quote. "why you have to be mad?" Like I said before, fans are getting so mad over an issue they have no control over. I heard some were sending death threats to Acend players, a sign of complete immaturity. I also see so many angry fans putting the blame on every single party for obscure reasons. For the pro players, it is fine to a little frustrated. For us, it is a waste of time to go argue in forums. Don't go thinking you're so right about everything and start drama with anyone who goes against you.

posted about 2 years ago

Again, benefit of the doubt. There is always a chance that they didn't know since the exploits were used in lesser-known matches. I still believe they deserve punishment, but not because they should've known about the bug.

posted about 2 years ago

to them, not us. Don't go arguing in every forum about how we feel because it's a waste of time and really won't go anywhere.

posted about 2 years ago

I'd like to clear this up once and for all. Riot did what they have to against the cypher cam bug abuse which was already used multiple times before, inciting similar allegations. Maybe Jhow didn't know about the bug, but punishment was necessary. I do believe a rematch would've been the better option here, but it is impossible to change riot's decision unless they forfeit the match and reschedule it. Riot should have either fixed the bug already or hand a fair punishment, but VK should have also have done research on the bug. Fans shouldn't interfere and start putting the blame on everyone who goes against their beliefs.

Valorant has topped the charts for a toxic community recently. We don't want to continue having bad reputation, especially with people who go on forums or comments intending to start drama. I hope that in the future, we begin to respect and appreciate riot employees for designing and operating the game; the pro players/creators for giving us free entertainment; most importantly, each other. It is rare nowadays to see such a community without hearing news of death threats or absolutely shameful rants every second. Instead, let this incident be a learning lesson for all parties: fans, players, and officials. Humans are designed to make mistakes; we can't make progress unless we learn from them. Take each mistake as a learning opportunity, and don't ignore or get frustrated by them.

That being said, you all should keep this close to your hearts: "It's just game why you have to be mad?"

posted about 2 years ago

yeah riot messed up on that. They should've removed the bug instead of spending time releasing green screen skins.

posted about 2 years ago

yeah the punishment carried out was very questionable, but we really can't change riot's decision now.

posted about 2 years ago

Look at the situation from both sides and think before you rant random shit. yes the ruling was harsh in my opinion, but both sides did what they had to do in an awkward situation. Don't go around and start an argument about why you think you're so right and everyone else who isn't Brazilian is wrong. Sure, Jhow may have not known, but a punishment must occur nonetheless.

posted about 2 years ago

agreed. Brazilian fans shouldn't attack or flame riot or acend. The glitch cam was used and PUNISHED multiple times in the past. maybe Jhow didn't know about it, which is probable. Still, riot handled the situation like they should have, even though I believe there should have been a rematch not a loss punishment. It is immature to make up excuses and attack everyone for siding with anything but VK.

posted about 2 years ago

I think VK deserved the win fair and square, but the cypher cam bug was also not something to be ignored. Months ago, Giants also faced allegations after using the exact same cam on breeze on a VCT qualifier. Riot punished them for this. Maybe the Jhow didn't know about the cam spot, but riot considers it a bug nonetheless. Let it be a learning experience for all parties instead of an opportunity to flame innocent players or send death threats. Riot will have to really put the nail on the coffin for simple bugs and glitches, and they also should set out a fair ruling for bug abusers. VK should've done more research about the cam since teams were already punished for using the exact same bug months ago. Fans should stop getting in the way of the dealings between the players and riot officials and leave it to them to handle the situation. No death threats should be sent. Angry fan mobs should not attack Acend, its players, or riot employees.

posted about 2 years ago

Maybe there is a chance that VK didn't know about it, but the issue has been resolved the same way before. The punishment may be too harsh, but it isn't fair not to punish a team for using this glitch after a similar incident had occurred before with the same results. Whether the cypher cam is really considered a glitch, it is up to riot to decide and not us.

posted about 2 years ago

I really feel bad for the Brazilian fans. Must be a heartbreaker. That being said all teams at VCT should've known the rules. The same cypher cam was used back months prior in an EU VCT Qualifier, causing chaos with riot officials.

There is really no excuse for "not knowing this glitch" as a team already was punished for using it before. That being said, I consider the ENTIRE match being forfeited to be too harsh on riot's side. Maybe next time lower the punishment, but the players should've known ahead too.
