I told you, this LIQUID roster is the most foolish thing that happened in valorant esports.

TL's loss to FUT says everything. Foolish management

First of all, ratings don't matter if you lose the most important match of your career without giving a tough fight. Of course, Enzo and Mistic are good but are they T1 category players competing at the highest level and on LAN, I heavily doubt that. If you want to build a team that will win trophies or even qualify for the biggest tournaments then you need to sign heavy hitters. You cannot compromise on that. At the start of 2024, everyone predicted TL wouldn't qualify for a Masters and the reason is clear. Enzo has time and again proven that he gets nervous during high-stakes matches and so does Mistic and that's a key quality of Champions. Take the example of Leo, Shao, Derke, Alfajer, and many more.

And of course, I don't want to discuss the quality of T2 in EMEA when compared to NA.

Look I don't want to go into the details of roster building because that takes time. Of course, support staff is important but most important is players that can win trophies and perform on the biggest stage. Enzo has already lost a final and Mistic has lost 2 finals and are rejected by one of the best teams in EMEA. They shouldn't get a chance to play in T1 until they prove in T2 and prove their potential. Last year FNATIC picked Chronicle (Big game player and champion), and Leo (Biggest talent in EMEA). If you don't want to take that route then pick all young and upcoming talent and build team cohesion and structure like what KCorp is doing.

bro is literally comparing scream with keiko xD

I think Team Liquid has lost its magic. At one point, it fielded the best CS:GO and DOTA 2 rosters

posted 2 weeks ago

I absolutely believe that Scream can still become the best player in EMEA. Bro needs supporting teammates and a good structure.

keep jamppi and nats and kick everyone else.

When is Team Liquid going to field a competitive roster and win trophies? Bring back Scream, Redgar, and Sliggy.

There are so many great talents out there in APAC. Why do they need to keep the same roster and make it stagnant.

I would keep vanity for curry anyday

Too many chances given to this roster. The GENZ roster is very good.

who is igl?

posted 4 weeks ago

Make the best roster for your favorite team and let's analyze their potential to win trophies. If someone suggests a roster for your team, reply with your suggestions on their thread.
Team Liquid - Scream, Jamppi, Nitro (since he was on TL), Sayf, N4rrate, Sliggy (Coach). Good mix of experience and young bloods.

Benjy's clout is comparable to Zellsis. Tenz clears both

The one who shouts more wins the series.

Redgar needs Engh otherwise he is not that strong in leading. Redgar needs a very strong structure in order to shine

Fnatic purposefully lost the finals so that they could save their starts for champs

Emil got his chance and he has failed miserably

-Mistic -> + Pancada
-Emil -> +Sliggy

Dude planned to create so much hype around NRG that they would fail under pressure, just so he could mock Chet in hindsight. NRG will just be another super team failing to make any impact.

Jamppi is still top 5 in EMEA

posted 1 month ago

Nats is like Yay. He is as good as his igl uses him.

posted 1 month ago

Magnum was good, atleast in my opinion. I don't know why they dropped him.

When you take players who have previously been rejected by a top regional team for choking in finals and expect them to succeed in an international tournament, you are either the biggest fool in the world or are overtly optimistic and can't think realistically. The current liquid team isn't even competitive in EMEA, let alone the other regions. Jamppi and Nats have huge potential and can become the best in the world but not with this current liquid team. Keiko needs to prove himself by winning a tournament and the rest shouldn't get another shot at Tier 1. The iteration with Sliggy and Scream was so good. They just needed a proper igl. That was it.

Undoubtedly, one of the best, if not the best coach in Valorant. Been watching him from NIP day, and I have to say he is a legend. So happy to see him back on the big stage again.

All the orgs are concerned about this. They make take more time to make changes.

posted about a year ago

Marved, Subroza, and Wardell they can get in if the team switches around the roles a bit.

His performance at Sau Paulo was good and the team could have stuck together till the end of at least another major tournament. But, with every other esports org cutting costs and Yay's salary being too high, they may have thought to go for a player who can take less salary yet deliver a similar kind of performance as Yay.

who needs a controller main when you are 1.83 rated on astra

posted about a year ago

People say Marved is the best controller or PaNCada is the best controller but to be honest Shao's versatility and his clutch completion rate make him by far the best player in this category. No one is even close.
