In terms of trophy

Champs>=Master>LOCK//IN>=EWC>>>Regional>>>>>>>>>>Off Season anything

Yeah, S0m doesn't have the results to back it, cause NRG was a disaster for stage 1, but if you followed the game in 2023 or watched their recent games, you'd know S0m is insane. Also, while Karon hasn't been hitting in the most recent games, he's still the best Smokes player. His lowlights are other players' highlights.

2023 EG is only slightly worse than FNC for the year while NRG, Loud > Liquid and literally no other EMEA team was good. Still fnatic was great so I wouldn't be mad if you pick emea.
2024 pac and Americas are close but I edge it out to Americas cause no pacific team was close to winning champs
2025 lowkey pacific>EMEA=Americas>=CN

Id say currently Keiko>Mako, and f0rsaken should be somewhere on here, but otherwise pretty good

Ah yes, just ignore the 4 non-Toronto teams that were eliminated to make the ratio 3/3. 100t lost to EDG and FNC in close games, one of which is a champs winner and the other the greatest roster of all time, who just placed second at Toronto. The only actual surprising non-Toronto team is KC, but G2 was playing with a sub and BLG is just ass.

The list doesn't mean you have to hate the team, but the enjoyment that comes from hating watching them. I love texture and have nothing against Gen.G, but watching them choke 10-2 leads is undeniably entertaining

Define placing well? 5/8 of the playoff teams went to Toronto, and that almost certainly would've been 6/8 if G2 wasn't playing with a coach. XLG has been a mess since YOU got benched, which opens a second slot, leaving just RRQ as the only true underperformer, who, by the way, got eliminated by a Toronto team.

NRGs road was literally as hard as it could've been within their region. They beat MIBR, the 3rd best team in Americas stage 1, and dominated 100T in a b05 who ALSO beat MIBR. And this doesn't even matter to my point. The point is the competition on the whole, and this tourney has the 3 best Pacific teams, 2/3 of the best CN teams, 3/4 of the best EMEA teams, and 3/4 of the best Americas teams.

The difference is that there aren't Tier 3 teams taking up slots in the tournament. NRG was INVITED to Soop and had to beat BLG, two tier 2 teams, and Gen.G. To win EWC, you have to qualify and beat at minimum 5 of the best tier 1 teams. It's not comparable in the slightest.

Yeah but EWC doesn't have Rapid Lofi and Made in Thai Land playing. The only top-tier teams missing from EWC are Wolves and TL.

The only valid argument for it being Mickey is online servers and G2 playing with a coach IMO. 1.25m is 1.25m, and no player plays a tournament not wanting to win it. Put the top 16 teams in the world in, and it's basically just an extra master's.

And even if NRG beat Gen.G, they have to lose to Heretics or BBL to continue the Heretics 3rd place 1st place curse

posted 1 month ago

I would've disagreed, but NRG drew Gen.G, and they were the only NA team I had faith in

I miss Bang to man, but this ain't gonna get sen to give him back

  1. Gen.G - Obvious
  2. PRX - Maybe #1
  3. FNC - Sadly
  4. NRG - Can't put them higher until they prove it
  5. BBL - They beat SEN but idk tbh
  6. SEN - Could randomly be first, but could also be 8th
  7. Heretics - Could randomly be second but will probably be 8th
  8. KC - Almost lost to BLG but Chaadhak is goated, so who knows

I dont hate Gen.G or G2 its just really funny watching Gen.G crumble when teams start fighting back and G2 post Tejo meta drama is hilarious

  1. G2 - Obviously
  2. Heretics - can't be first
  3. Sen - S0ntinels
  4. 100T - Boostio lol
  5. Gen.G - Glass Chin

Marved had a .02 higher rating in the playoffs with lower ACS, K/D, KAST, ADR, KPR, and FKPR. Marved's clutch/lurk impact was insane, but even then, he was at best marginally better than yay if you only include the playoffs of one tournament for the entire year

posted 1 month ago

Either you weren't there or you're being intentionally oblivious because no one alive would argue Yay wasn't the best player itw at the time. He was so good that if anyone outperformed him, it was considered an outlier. Also, Yay was the best player at Champs hands down. I don't even like Optic, but it's just delusion to ignore what he did.

PRX is funny cause they're all so good that none of them ever statistically dominate, making it hard to rate them on this list. Copenhagen mindfreak and Jingg champs 2023 were originally on the honorable mentions, but the list was getting too long.

I can understand your earlier points, but his fall off is just a fallacy in what you're arguing for. Tenz never lived up to Reykavik for the rest of 2021 and didn't enter back into top player debates for two and a half years. All that matters is how dominant they were at their peak and how long it lasted. While I do think you could argue maybe Tenz peak was like 1-2% better, it lasted for less than half of yays.

Aspas is always a difficult one to rank. If you look at events it's hard to find a single time he's been the definitive #1 player coming out of a tournament, but he's always top 3. His prime isn't even a prime it's just him being him lol

revisionist history. SEN was 5/5 the best players in NA at the time, and pre-nerf Jett is arguably the strongest agent ever
