It's a miracle how they have got this far already at champs. Ethan had a life game and they barely managed to win against EDG. DRX like GenG had problem of choking and closing out maps. They will be able to make atleast 5th-6th at champs after winning against Group B #2 seed(any of BLG/RRQ/MBR is a free win) in playoffs. They will be praised for making this far with 3 rookies. RRQ denied everyone’s favorite team, Gen.G, a spot at Champs and also robbed us of the chance to see Talon’s rookies showcase their potential on an international stage. They need to make atleast a Top 6 finish or the “Tejo merchants” tag will stick. A clean 2-0 over Fnatic will earn my faith in them.
DRX have some of the best raw aimers in the world—Hyunmin & Flashback. If they fix their mid-round calls, adaptability, and mental resilience under pressure and with that firepower being second to none, I can see them making Top 3.
T1 are going to have plenty of hatewatchers, all eyes will be on them at Champs. They’ve shown they can overwhelm teams with their pace, especially on Neon and Yoru comps. A strong run vs top teams would silence any doubts about whether they’re just bullies or true title contenders.
