recently I’ve heard this rumor that certain pros are given cheats on LAN to make it more interesting, like demon1 era for example. do u think this theory is true? I also heard some streamers that are radiant are given mouse cheats and easier lobbies to help sell the game, but the game itself is rigged to keep players hardstuck. I know you work with riot so u probs won’t admit too it but you seem genuine so figured worth a try to ask.

I gave you the numbers. 0.4-1.25% of games having cheaters vs 2.5-10% of games having cheaters. Faceit anticheat is objectively better

both are percentages of game impacted by a cheater.

If either anticheat had a hidden cheater epidemic, it would probably be valorant, as it’s a lot easier to avoid detection due to a much larger playerbase and lack of a demo system

That being said, as it’s our only objective comparison, and both games have a very high detection rate, I’m inclined to just trust both dev’s numbers.

Vanguard is a great anticheat, but it's not as good as Faceit's anticheat.

You can prefer one game over the other, but faceit does have a better anticheat objectively

Faceit's highest amount of cheaters ever is around 1.2%, Valorant averages around 2.5% per region, even if we ignore the time when 1 in 10 games had cheaters.

Faceit anticheat is better than Vanguard. And it has to be, if it wasn't an industry leading anticheat, there'd be no point in playing faceit

First game with the new C9 roster after yay and Vanity were kicked, so everyone was super excited to shit on C9. I remember map 1 when C9 was down 10-3, everyone on VLR was clowning C9 for losing to EG (no one had realized how insane their roster was yet).
