I think that my hidden MMR is diamond, because despite being plat 2, the last 4 games in a row I've played have had a diamond on the other team, and 1 or 2 golds on mine

also if I win without top fragging I get like 12 rr

I just used my own stats so it wasn’t a pro player people were biased against

For example if I said Zombs was good despite his stats being pretty bad I’d get a lot of people automatically disagreeing because they dislike zombs

A lot of people tend to assume that if someone has a negative k/d, they are a detriment to the team, and I just don't think that's true at all

I will use myself as an example. I'm plat 2 currently (not the best ik but I was silver 2 seasons ago so I'll take it), and I tend to play smokes most often. My k/d for the act is 0.98, but despite that I still have a 57.6% winrate because I can set up my teammates well.

Even on the agent I tend to play the worst on (Jett), I have a 0.88 k/d, but a 62.5% winrate, as I am constantly looking for entries and getting info.

Just because someone is bottom of the scoreboard, doesn't mean that they are the worst player on the team. A lot of impact can be had by having good vibes, comms, and knowing how to play your role.

Focus on making yourself and your team get better

Don’t give up early, always encourage the comeback and try your best to make sure your team doesn’t get titled

Making your team play better is the number 1 way to rank up

I'm a bit nervous for my AP Calc final but other than that I'm not worried

My school has a program where I can take half community college classes and half high school classes so I already finished half of my finals (my local community college takes finals 2 weeks earlier than my school)

My school didn't have finals during covid so I haven't had to take finals since 1st semester sophomore year (I'm a senior now), so I'm a little rusty on finals studying, hopefully it's not that bad though

I love that NA vlr has so many academy teams

I think the fact that NA cs didn't have a good way to pay+develop players that aren't ready for tier 1 hurt the scene pretty badly

some people are able to take the good part of ranked (aim duels, learning new strats/angles, etc.) and implement it into their gameplan

others get used to being able to outaim people and build bad habits that fuck them up in game

The inevitable happens and both C9 and Fnatic reach the finals to face off for one last time. The series is tied at 2-2 and the final map is Fracture. The score favours C9 at 12-11 as Vanity is left in a 1v3 clutch to prevent the game from going to overtime. The spike has been planted as Vanity marches onto site with a Judge. Doma flashes himself like in Iceland and Derke is sent flying with his own satchels as Vanity shoots two shots of the Judge to create it into a 1v1. It's Boaster vs Vanity. Boaster outbrains himself trying to lurk Vanity but little did he know that he was going to get lurked on. Vanity takes his knife, stabs Boaster in the back and stares into his eyes, gets the defuse as Cloud9 are crowned as Champions. Little did we know that Jack is the one to survive this 'Titanic' display between these 2 teams.

Vanity has done it. The only son of Steel does it again. Vanity is NA's only and last pride as EU teams start to dominate for the next 10 years.
