They also said that Valorant is everchanging so it's important to get as many reps in as possible, even "shitty ones." This is why most pros in Val are playing a lot of ranked, for the reps man.

Furthermore, I heard what Xeppa and vanity were talking about. Tarik asked them if "not playing a lot of ranked was a problem." They responded with the very simple answer of, "if they suck and aren't doing anything about it, then yes." "But if they don't suck and are performing well, then there's no problem."

Who said anything about playing 80+ hours a week, and why did you once again assume that playing more = more motivation? What I am saying is you don't know how much time he's putting in behind the scenes. There is absolutely no way for you to know, and since you don't know this very basic fact, by your standards (amount played = motivation) you can't possibly know how motivated this guy is.

Yeah, so you are pretty naive to think that any pro practices a total of 10 hours a week. It's their job sir, why would any pro practice 10 hours a week. Just because they don't play ranked or anything of that nature, it doesn't imply that they aren't getting any reps in during the week in customs or scrims. As many pros have said before and will continue to say; playing ranked is different than playing in a tournament or in the pro scene. There are a lot of bad habits in ranked that can cause people to lose rounds, like chasing and etc... It could be (speculating here) that said people don't want to pick up those bad habits. So please don't assume you know what they are doing behind the scenes because I guarantee you are not a Valorant pro, nor have you practiced like one.
