well, technically that can't happen cuz of group D
absolute chad. you know what talk your talk king
absolute bottlejobs from NRG on the first map (21-5 fk/fd, both pistols, won bonus), got squashed on the second
tbf cs's mechanics are like 5 times harder than Valorant but I agree. saying cs pro would be shit at valorant is copium. sure at the beginning, util will spook them a bit but when they get used to it, cs pros would be at least at the same level as the current val pros
and he didn't even do that bad imo hard carrying DRX at Tokyo
cuz people knows that they're shite, so as expected is the words that people would use to describe DFM, not necessarily failure
Team Liquid bombing out in groups, no Fnatic in grand finals
it is low, but it's not that low
honestly , apart from turko, they don't deserve a o7 cuz that was ugly af
(o7 for turko though)
fix it
it's not they might, it's they will
i want to build a fun/different team so
forsaken (sentinel)
Sugarzero (exclusively astra)
FNS (i know i said fun, i need an igl)
Shao (initiator)
aspas (duelist)
aspas is a FA next year so don't rule that out
it doesn't really improve your aim. in my experience, it does improve the feel of the game
unless you're at the top, pro gaming sadly isn't an easy option
more of red bull home ground type tournament would be nice, see how franchised team faces off against tier 2 teams
or like a mid-season region face off across all of the region, winners from each region gets automatic ascension tournament spot plus one more qualifying spot for the tournament for their region
i want 5 maps, i think we're gonna get at least 4, and i'll be happy if either win
"everybody acting tough when they're up"
wait... is this winner goes to Champions???
yea basically asuna was their best player for the first 3-4 games (looked like the best anyway), and then Cryo woke up and carried
well... asuna was the one who carried that team until cryo actually woke up, other than him, the rest was underperforming a lot
without an initiator on attacks= nothing to setup duelists to entry. no initiator on defense= no info on where enemy could be= if the attack destroys most of the sentinels util, aka cypher's trips, cams and sage's wall, then defenses are fucked
... raptors they need to blow everything up man. if they goes on a selling spree, aka trading OG, Siakam, basically everyone that's not Scottie Barnes and Gradey Dick are on the market and rebuild from there. they shouldn't trade for dame just to be the 6th seeds and get eliminated in the 1st round
oh god im dumb still one force buy round on attack is... not good, especially on haven of all map expect lotus. ofc there are values to be had with yoru but is it worth trading the breach and put all of your chips in brute force attack? honestly i would love to see the yoru+ breach and leave the jett instead
defense looks sus af. one full gun round on defense? ofc i will need to watch that map but sus is an understatement. actually it's a force buy so technically the other team probably threw
The fact is why won’t they ban their perma AND their opponents’ best map, especially when they beat you convincingly I would say on that map. I know that they don’t really care since their map pool is so good but they have the advantage here, why not try and use it. Plus like sure EG did have a 0.2 defuse, but are we really disregarding EVERYTHING else EG did well that map?
i'm not questioning EG's win on ascent vs PRX, i'm just saying don't be so sure about FNC's ascent. Plus there's no tape on Fnatic's ascent in this tournament so far, and the last time they played ascent, they lost narrowly to TL. Boaster and Mini would definitely have cooked up sth since then
chronicle is the dupreeh of Valorant. man just wins
i would assume EG would pick Split first, then Ascent
top frag 3 out of 5 maps absolute demonic
some people don't use their brain, some just don't even have a brain
typical stats guy, but I do have to agree that crashies and Vic did not have the best of tournaments, and it's not because they didn't put up stats. honestly, we just didn't see as much of the crashies's effect that helped them so many times before
EG literally made to America's playoffs because a coach from the 2nd worst team in the league knifed 100t in their back if that's not cinderella then i don't know what is
honestly i would love NRG vs FNATIC, EG vs PRX, Liquid vs DRX and LOUD vs EDG what yall think? it would be so fun to watch FNS vs Boaster brain-off, Demon1 vs something, Liquid's firepower vs DRX's setplays and aspas vs KangKang
that's weird if anyone thought that
nah they're the typical gate-keeper team
both i think. Talon was straight up trolling, NAVI doesn't look as strong+ weird roles for, we can agree, top, world class player. DRX, well i've been saying this, I love their ideas and executes, I completely hate the way they midround.
i would imagine if the player and the team mutually agree to part ways (yay), then yes. If straight up kick, then i would imagine the org has to pay a compensation fee for the contract
here my thinking: Smoke roles i think is the hardest to play, but the easiest to master. most smokes player in the world often are the igl of the team (pro play anyway). Fragging with a smoke agent is tough, if your game has a top-frag omen, you are most likely losing. However, in team-play, it's a lot easier to play because of timings, comms, placement of smokes have been practiced tons of times
well... it's Paper Rex, if anyone can make Yoru work, it's them. Also i remember Optic briefly ran Yoru on Ascent, and they had one specific play that take mid control immediately. So if they can make Yoru work, surely the master of chaos can make it work
no they won't they've been playing this viper omen stuff since last year
