The post had Boom Esports as part of the VCT teams instead of SPG.

posted 9 months ago

🤐 I don’t think they need any jinxing

posted 9 months ago

Dw, BOOM ended SPG’s undefeated Lotus streak today, anythings possible at this point since SPG might be mental boomed and are definitely the ones under pressure atm.

Different era, player salaries are considerably lower today than 2-3 years ago.

Not too sure, nothing confirmed yet but FNC has expressed interest in him as well as Xeus as mentioned #5.

posted 9 months ago

Supposedly getting Kaajak to replace Derke and Leo returning to the lineup.

posted 9 months ago

He was already in NA (Canada) before that, where are you getting the idea that he was only in EU until 24?

Edit: Fine what org developed him in EU?

posted 9 months ago

We’re talking in the context of pro play, and I’m arguing on the basis of his development, not his import status.

posted 9 months ago

He only played in Morroco (not Europe) in 2020 and then subsequently went Canada to study engineering in college before pivoting to T2 NA. Heck one of the reasons why he went to Sen is because of Kaplan who coached him in 2022 (Ghost Gaming) in T2 NA (Not EU).

You can check his liquidpedia page, he’s only played for 1 Moroccan org for 2 months way before EMEA existed as a region and left way before internationals started. Mass majority of his journey and development has been in NA:

JohnQT developed in T2 NA and didn’t play in EU, it wasn’t like they poached an igl like Boaster from a Tier 1 EMEA org.

Dude regained his red check mark now. Cojo in shambles.

posted 9 months ago

Yes, he’s currently competing in this years LoL Worlds championship going on atm.

posted 9 months ago

He handcuffed himself to Loud till 2026 on top of that, could’ve just waited out this year and be a free agent in the current off-season.

posted 9 months ago

Maybe they don’t want to sponsor more player visas.

posted 9 months ago

Nah they have their hands full with people mad about the LoL worlds music video.

She probably doesn’t have a buyout, she’s signed till 2024 (this current year) on the VCT global contract database so whether she’s stays or not is up to her, but she gets insane amounts of flexibility and decision making on EG compared to other orgs I’d imagine.

posted 9 months ago

Going to see a ton of Sen Bang(ed) ā€œinsert team name hereā€ everytime Sen wins a match if they do sign Bang.

posted 9 months ago

How poorly do you think Sen and Loud would do, considering their current perceived placements by the end of the season? I’m sure people would agree that Sen could improve and make regional playoffs more consistently assuming that they match or exceed the firepower of the previous iteration. For Loud there really isn’t much lower they could go imo, but then again they’re very conservative with their money and Saadhak is leaving.

posted 9 months ago

He went to Canada for college then pivoted to T2 valorant in NA.

posted 9 months ago

Tbf it’s not like SEN and NRG can play against Tier 2 SA so they can’t comment on those teams.

posted 9 months ago

They at least made 1 international this year, unlike NAVI.

It’s not over yet

posted 10 months ago

Ofc, hence why I said N4RRATE will play Jett.

posted 10 months ago

But Sentinels weren’t the same exact team from the previous year, they changed out 2 of their players just like how Lev changed 3 of their players, and they were still competitive with the rest of the competition early on in Kick-Off. It probably boils down to how much preparation they do in the off season since Sen by far did the most off-season tournaments relative to the rest of the Americas teams last year.

posted 10 months ago

If all the teams in the top half are competitive with each other regionally, would that mean that’s just the new bar? I thought a superteam had to be a cut above the competition.

posted 10 months ago

Assuming N4RRATE is joining he will take over Sacys roles and play Jett.

posted 10 months ago

Parents aren’t robots, what are you going to do if they overwork themselves to death?

posted 10 months ago

JohnQT already occupies the import slot.

posted 10 months ago

Pancada is signed to Loud till 2026, doubt they’re letting him walk free after recently re-acquiring him.

posted 10 months ago

You guys beat him in the end at least.

posted 10 months ago

Realistically speaking KT and Fox are very beatable by current T1.

posted 10 months ago

Think that’s a different game they’re taking about bud.

posted 10 months ago

Even if you think Madrid is Mickey Mouse what was wrong with Shanghai?

posted 10 months ago

PRX never win a tourney
GMB 21 reunite
LOUD 22 reunite
yay return to 22 form
Xeppaa be cut from C9
FNS get Aspas aim
People never see Nats lurks
DRX revert too old roster

posted 10 months ago

Where’s NRG this year with 2023 Champs MVP Demon1?

posted 10 months ago

That doesn’t make sense, EMEA lasted longer than APAC in Champs.

posted 10 months ago

Any news on Sens new assistant coach?

posted 10 months ago

Don’t stick it in crazy.

posted 10 months ago

Man how did we go from el Classico to losing optic and loud cores within 2 years.

posted 10 months ago

EDG beat the #4, #3, and #2 placing teams in their playoffs run, doubt you could ask for more unless you also wanted them to face G2 in round 1 of playoffs as well.

posted 10 months ago

Hard to tell, off-season just started and if he gets on a team that can make full use of him while keeping him mentally focused, he might be able to make some waves.

We saw what happened after Sen got an actual igl and dropped Pancada for Zellsis (whom even FNS thought was a downgrade), they became international contenders.

posted 10 months ago

I feel like FPX is underrated, they probably make it further if they weren’t facing all the international finalists early on in the tourneys.

posted 10 months ago

It helps bring across what he’s saying as being serious, it definitely helps to show that you’re not messing around.

posted 10 months ago

Alright I’ve seen enough, FPX is winning Champs next year.

posted 10 months ago

Must be a good way to start the day for them
