If G2 loses to this version of XLG calling that shocking would be an understatement.

If G2 loses to this version of XLG calling that shocking would be an understatement.
No one wants the smoke from GenG atm, so they only had PRX left.
Who else is XLG going to pick? They're not going to pick PRX & GenG who were the strongest teams coming out of swiss, and Wolves are from their own region so picking them is seen as a cowardly move and no one wants same region match-ups. Only option they had that was respectable but gave them a perceived winning edge was Sen.
Ngl I can see people saying that PRX is the worst of the Pacific teams to say that Sen got lucky (RRQ and GenG on the other side of the bracket).
Dude FNS will crash out if Zellsis gets more masters titles than him.
They didn't play Heretics or first round TL w/o nAts.
Think their coach thought they could've anti-stratted Sen off of the vods of Lotus for what its worth.
They had to swap out YOU with midi, this isnt the same team lineup that won VCT China, kind of like how EDG looked like a shell of themselves in Split 1 with Simon out.
Probably thought he had enough vods to anti-strat Sen.
either Sen got TL first round with no nAts, Wolves, or PRX; there's no winning for Sen unless they drew and got PRX round 1 or GenG/PRX round 2. Since EMEA fans will definitely say Sen beating TL first round wouldn't have counted either.
Bro it’s not even halfway through first half, pump the breaks and be humble.
Lets not jinx it, better for Sen to be the underdogs this run.
Why’s Sen catching strays? They still need to beat either PRX/G2 if they make it past XLG to at least make top 5/6
G2 going out that early would be a shock.
Then how did EDG beat them last year at Champs if Sen mind control is that strong?
Mate, Sen has to beat G2 first before that could possibly happen
Threads like this makes me wish 2024 FPX was appreciated more given the tough hand of opponents and where they got stopped in their runs.
What’s the bare minimum required for a region to not be a 0 team region? Having teams make top 4 at the current international?
I dont think Americas fans will say much, MIBR got 13-1ed by GenG so we're in the same boat.
Internal team conflict led to Simons benching in split 1 and EDG couldn’t find a 5th that they could integrate well in that time period by the time playoffs rolled around.
Whens the deadline for a prediction? Before playoffs start?
You have to get rid of the SOOP contract first, many teams were directly impacted by the viewership decline and chose to leave as a result.
But he won Madrid vs GenG and made top 4 at Champs this past year.
There’s still the concept of hot and cold, and teams that play later (1st seeds) tend to need some time to ramp up while teams coming out of swiss are already warmed up from their recent matches.
But that’s what the general audience wants and needs.
Bro don't jinx your own team man, not worth it...
Exactly, people are only going to shut up about this if Sen actually makes top 4 or better, which probably would require them to at least beat one of FNC, GenG, PRX, G2, or RRQ at minimum.
Only good outcome is if they redeem themselves by going deep in playoffs, since there’s no weak teams there imo.
As it stands right now, APAC is better than the other regions until proven otherwise.
You do realize NA has made it out of Swiss two years in a row at LoL worlds and EU hasn’t right? Heck they took GenG to 5 games last Worlds too.
Yes, I know he doesn't care but the alternative is Team Liquid locked into a stalemate with BLG until the heat death of the universe, which is not going to happen since everyone in the match is human and will get exhausted eventually.
By the process of Swiss elimination only 2 teams can lose without winning a single game, the other 1 will at least win 1 game.
It's really hard to compare players in that context, since you could also argue that players might've done better have they had the resources and knowledge that current players now have, its best to acknowledge that they were great players in different eras of the game rather than pitting them against each other.
So basically he's Valorant's version of LoL CvMax
He did place 3rd at Champs 2022 at the time of Prime Loud and Optic, and lost 2-3 to Prime Optic there so its not like he truly was a bum.
this is what the courts call making an example out of someone.
Think he means teams that won't be relegated to tier 2 and will remain in franchising.
Isn't JohnQT a product of Americas T2 scene as well?
where did you hear that?
Unironically Sacy probably would be great as a team/general manager if he ever wants to be one.
The magic ends the moment Alfajer stands up at Toronto.
We’ve seen these games before, I’ll only believe it once they hit 13 round wins before OT.
You do realize this version of NRG doesn’t exist without Stage 1 NRG bombing out right?
