Just because Envy bombed out of champs doesn't mean they were a "biggest failure". They very clearly stand out among this list, all the others were never close to winning something, while Envy got second. Also it's not like them not qualifying for the first event is a big deal, they have kaboose and mummay at that time, they weren't the same team as they were at Berlin.

S0m would definitely help him entry, realistically another person would probably also have to step up (probably Ethan), but yeah it's not perfect. Also defensive duelists can still definitely work, Cryo's a defensive duelist and he's doing great, it's just all about how you use him
They do just feel like the problem. I honestly think if you get rid of Victor and keep Demon1 the role issues are probably fixed, which sucks because Victor has honestly been playing really well. But I'd take Demon1 over Victor in this scenario tbh

I mean it's probably because he wants to compete. The analytical way I look at it, if the team does well, he can get part of the credit since he's new, if it does poorly, it's because the team was already dysfunctional and he unfortunately was not enough to save it.
