Sentinels has the best marketing/decision making team by far in Valorant
Ascension is open to anyone so if EDG/any Chinese team really wants they can participate in it
EG because they’ll wake up from the dead one day before the roster lock and make the best roster in NA and win it all next year

Since the first roster lock is in 4 days on the 15th I assume there will be a lot of teams who have to announce their (temporary) roster by that date so can we expect teams like NaVi, C9, NRG, Liquid, Sentinels and Fnatic to announce their roster?

it definitely does but the roster they’re going to have is such a big upgrade that if they don’t make it to at least top 3 with that roster at the kickoff tournament I'll be disappointed (most likely gonna happen somehow)
depends on if Yay can bring the same performance that he had on Optic to C9 because Optic made opportunities for him to get kills and put him up for success and with the C9 roster we just don’t know if they'll set him up as perfectly as Optic did
