I'm not saying the roster is bad the players are all good but on paper are they better than SEN and NRG players? I'm sure C9 will do good next year but are they really up there with DRX, NaVi, SEN, Fnatic and perhaps even NRG?

tbh the hate comes from the expectations most have from Fnatic (Fnatic with the players they had going into Copenhagen were expected to win it all) and since that didn’t happen and Fnatic choked the only person most blame is the IGL like even when Optic did bad FNS got blamed almost always so it’s something that comes with being IGL but some of his ideas are weird as well and stuff that costs Fnatic maps/games so it’s a combination of both

NaVi needed a OP player and since they couldn’t get Sayf... they got next best option Cned and now considering that Chamber's pick rate is going down and more teams are running Jett and I think Chamber will get another small nerf before the next VCT season I think the meta will shift towards Jett and Cned is the best Jett player in the world his Chamber is weak but he diffs everyone with Jett so I think FPX got a upgrade

Fair but those players are good domestically and when you have teams like SEN and NRG who have players who've been to International LAN and have proven that they're the best and compete against the best then I just don’t see why C9 is currently above them in most rankings and even above LOUD and PRX in some cases because of one player when the C9 core hasn’t actually achieved much this year

and true most rosters are going to be overrated but overrating Fnatic and Sentinels for example makes sense because with the players they have they should be title contenders next year whereas C9 has the potential but on paper isn’t that close

Why is everyone rating them so high when you have SEN and NRG who have multiple players who have won trophies internationally and domestically and have far more experience against the best teams
