I'll answer that for ya. They are fucking awful and considered tier 3 at this point. Steel was not carrying that team in any type of way.

Stellar is a pretty cracked IGL. Always has decent numbers. I think the org felt like they needed a drastic change cause things were clearly not working. Plus who knows what goes on behind the scenes. It's entirely possible Ethan tried playing with them at first after the changes and just didn't enjoy the environment.

If 100T and SEN were there it'd probably be different. Optic and Guard definitely have less of a following. But hey, tournament spots aren't determined by popularity thankfully.

People were saying the same thing about DRX, formally VS, when they went on a 102 series win streak. Way too much hype behind LOUD when they compete in a below average region. Let's see them play Liquid first. I have no doubt LOUD is a good team but it's just so weird seeing people hype them up after what happened with VS. LOUD has some incredible players with amazing aim. Gotta see them pull the strats out now vs Liquid, who also has cracked players.
