it's subjective brother, if there was a match with just players from your city vs players from another city you would support the ones in your city, same with state/region, same with country and it's just the same with continents at the end of the day, no you can't only support antartica just cause you are from earth cause they would be fighting other players from earth, it makes sence for continents cause they are fighting each other, sure the players themselfs are not always from there inheretly, but most of them were build in that enviroment which makes them relatable and gives a sence of brotherhood that makes us want to root from them, those are the players who play in our ranked regions, those are the players close to us geologically, USA is pretty much the size of europe so why is supporting USA diferent from us supporting EU brothers? with that logic you should only support players from your state cause that is what most europeans have to work with considering the size of their countries
