these are some BURNING hot takes and I genuinely want to hear how you defend them (other than for BLG because that's pretty standard)

That's exactly how I feel haha. Genuinely I really like their talent and am hoping they were saving strats for playoffs, but I at least am not putting my groups pickems on that being the case. They are so talented and I would love to see FNC make a run, our Toronto runnerups!!
To me, it's a strong pick that PRX win group A, but what about GX or SEN? A lot of my friends seem very confident on SEN leaving groups with PRX, but I personally think it is a lot closer than people give GX credit for. Is it a matter of believing GX had a sort of fluke run / lack the international experience, a lot of Sentinels bias, or something else entirely? Would love to hear more input on this because I don't see how it's so lopsided in my circle.
If anyone's wondering, I do have GX leaving groups, but I kinda have this feeling that whoever wins the first match will lose the rematch.
What makes you so confident that FNC do pass, out of curiosity? I am of the belief that if they win their first game that they are probably good enough to win their groups and probably even make some distance in a playoffs run, but at least at the moment I just can't bring myself to subscribe to the idea that they will do so. Is it just the faith and love for FNC, confidence that they were saving good strats for Champs, or?
For a bit of time I was not that big on Sato and didn't understand the hype around him because of my limited ability to watch T2 NA, but honestly after seeing his performance on LEV and how he plays I'm really excited to watch him more. Additionally, from what I've seen of Neon and Blowz (ENTIRELY STATS, I HAVE NOT SEEN T2 LATAM), this team really does seem promising and I'm hopeful it can be the first of multiple good South America rep for T1 Americas next year.
I personally have BLG and RRQ winning group B, but I 100% see a world where they can advance and leave one of these other two teams in the dust. How much faith do you have in FNC to show up at Champs looking better than their group stage performance? Or do you think that they're guaranteed to make it to playoffs? Would love to hear more takes on this :)
Hey! It's very up in the air obviously, but if ENVY were to win and ascend to VCT Americas, they would have to drop Canezerra and Ion. At best, they'd have to bench Cane until his 18th birthday in June. Who do you think they could pick up as a Duelist substitute and as a new smokes player for Ion in that time that would fit their play style?
