Surely they don't put #10 and #11 in the same group, especially if it's the 3 team group. That would mean one of them would guarantee playoffs, which seems silly. If #1, #2, #3 headline the three groups, then #9, #10, #11 should all be in different groups. Whether the third team in group C comes from the bottom or the top half of the remaining #4-#8 I don't know, but it should be one of them.

I wouldn't say Stuttgart is dirty, it's just ugly. It's designed around cars way too much for my taste. It's definitely livable, I just think it doesn't compare well to cities like Cologne or Hamburg. The cities in close proximity aren't too bad though, I'll agree with that.

Stuttgart is the ugliest place in Germany and everyone who lives in Frankfurt is either an investment banker or a heroin addict (or both).

So among the big cities, I'd probably recommend Cologne or Hamburg. Cologne people probably have more local pride overall (as in, they all identify with their city a lot, doesn't mean they don't accept outsiders or foreigners, they tend to be very open, unless you're from D*sseldorf), and they are crazy about football and their local football club. While football is also pretty big in Hamburg, if you do like football, Cologne is probably one of the best places to be, because NRW (the state that Cologne is in) has a very high density of fairly successful football clubs. Cologne also has the Gamescom every year, idk if you're into that. I haven't been to Hamburg much at all, so I can't really say much about it tbh.

Honestly at this point I wouldn't even consider FUT an upset. They were the #2 EMEA team at champs (although NAVI had a tougher group and didn't look that bad), and they have clearly upgraded the roster and looked pretty strong in the off season so far.

I mean, they look great on paper, it's obvious why people are getting hyped. It's not like they don't have the potential to become the best team in Americas or even the world. They could also crash and fail horrendously.

There's just so many question marks on the team, Marved in general, Ethan as IGL, crashies and Victor in terms of consistency. They could land anywhere between 1st to 10th (not landing below mibr, sorry) in Americas, so I dont really blame people for speculating either way. They're probably one of the harder teams to accurately predict.

Problem is there's now 40 partnered teams, and 44 teams total in the leagues, which will go up to at 56 total in 2027. With 30 teams + 2 wild cards it was doable. With 56, you probably need to invite 8 extra teams and do 64 teams single elim, but that's a very big amount of hotel rooms, visas, etc, and would also double the amount of matches played in the tournament, even if you stick to single elim.

It's not a bad metric by any means, but it's also extremely subjective, and in the end, nobody gives a shit. It's interesting to look at, that's all.

He's a great player, had a pretty solid year in 2023, actually looked like the second best player behind aspas on the new roster in the few games they played, and was now dropped way after orgs like mibr and Fúria finalised their rosters, making it impossible for him to still find a team. Kinda like what happened to yay and vanity last year (a bit of a different situation, but he's now in a similar position). It's a shitty situation, and wishing downfall on Loud because Brazilians aren't happy with how he was treated is pretty absurd tbh.
