Their bind start is not good, it does not define who they are as a team. FPX were able to nearly 13-0 the team with ease, FNC were too startled, but even they got like 10 rounds. Only if mistic remembered how to shoot his gun and derke was having the worst game of his life. Overall, they create an immense amount of pressure on the enemy team and sometimes specific players and manage to get away with the win. I think that is their biggest strength. They can make an enemy player underperform. They are a great A-tier team with some s-tier player and performances. They are not miles better than the likes of average best teams like FNC, Optic, Liquid, but are a loot better than most teams below their tier like xerxia, any APAC team, NA overrated squads like 100T and TGRD.

One of the best ways to describe them. They always knew what the EMEA teams were up to and had a really good map pool with an unbeatable bind and great ascent and split.

If it was 2-3 EMEA teams who had to qualify and fluke like g2 qualified, maybe I would be worried. But out of 10 of the best teams, undoubtedly 2 or 3 will perform. You also gotta factor in some teams perform better with everyone hating them. Players like cned, starxo and navi players know to handle the pressure.
Acend was undisputed goat against EMEA teams lmao. Maybe not against international competition all the time, but they were domestic warlords. When acend decimated lulquid, there was no chance, not in a million years acend would lose to gambit. Anyone who had watched EMEA VCT would know acend always won the most important matches swift and easily

Not overhyped. They are and lived up to the expectations. Other than c9w and guild, every team performed well but g2 rn is doing above and beyond. They could still lose the finals tho dont get me wrong.

It was a well known fact EMEA mediocre team>>any other region's mediocre team.OGLU, G2, washed acend with l1nk and navi old roster owns even 2nd best APAC team like XERXIA, who is yet to actually be beaten by any team other than PRX. Also, no point in talking about EA LCQ, it was a complete joke who were completely rolled by Chinese team that have never played a single game in VCT. Even in NA, teams like TGRD, Faze and Ghost would destroy the likes of Boom, ONIC and team secret.
Remember when g2 were at their best form, when they were going toe to toe with acend, winning games in EMEA and international events? Yeah when mixwell was not playing jett and playing viper kj. Yes, g2 wasnt always good and mixwell never liked playing those agents, but he gave a lot of team value for sure.
seems like a h1ber situation. The way he is missing chamber bullets, its a very bad sign. No matter how new or broken a team is, a chamber is supposed to be a hard carry regardless of circumstance. Cned was farming with broken acend, derke destroying with a new fnatic with no time. Zeek and Boo were really impressive tho.

Confession on why I don't like TenZ anymore-
TenZ was on his best phase when he was using the zowie S2 mouse. Even the xm1 which has a similar shape worked great for him( Iceland masters). Then he got a good deal from the Finalmouse and started shilling for a flat shaped mouse like the starlight-12. Even in Berlin when he switched to the S2 for a match( against F4Q), he played his best game ever on stage imo. You might think peripherals don’t matter but trust me familiarity is important when you grip the mouse in a weird way like TenZ. And as an avid zowie mice enjoyer I asked myself can I support a man who would trade long term success for some ez money? The answer was 'NO'. Shame on TenZ

everyone is toxic in eu, maybe because its the most competitve region in the game. EU plat 3 players should move to NA, feel like the easy difficulty will overall make them enjoy the game more and given the skill difference, they may even start finding pokimone and ratzam in their lobbies, but it will definitely take time before they reach the level of addison and codey tho.
My viper mini started scroll issue within 5 months or so, got it fixed and it happened again. Next time will directly go for the viper wireless or gpro wireless.
