2 slots for America, and its SRGC and C9W remaining, so they will be present in champions. Its just a question of "Are they lucky enough to be match with each other" or "do they each have the skill to make it to the grand finals?"

What about X10/Xerxia? They attended 4 times too(M2 2021, Champ 2021, M1, and the current M2), the same as optic, fnatic, and drx

DRX is not winning lower brackets.
They either get through top bracket or just die to peer pressure

DRX Is not making a lower bracket run.

Either then go 2-0 and instaqualify or loses their first elimination game

Why should APAC 2nd be placed 3rd?
And why should japan be placed below Korea when they had a much better result in stage 1?

Honestly just make it so LATAM and Brazil is one region since there are only 4 reasonably competitive team in both region. Might as well make them like the EMEA challengers format with 3 teams qualifying

1 year ago... they now both have different player and different coaches. Plus Team liquid qualified for playoffs when v1 was no where to be found lol.
Plus the only reason v1 won that was cuz soulcas threw that 1 crucial round. a rematch probably can get liquid to win that matchup

At least they had the excuse of "leaf isn't there, and we still need time to incorporate curry along with dealing with the fact that autumn is gone"

posted about 3 years ago

4months ago they'd be hailed as 2 of the best teams in NA, going 5-0 in both of the groups. Now they are losing to tier 2 teams like soniqs and DarkZero. Wtf happened(ik c9 lost their coach, subbed xeta out for curry, and leaf had a replacement, but tf happened to v1 with 0 subs and changes)

G2 also made triple sentinels on split too and found great success(raze, omen, chamber, sage, cypher)
Too bad gold 2 didn't qualify and split is getting removed

I think it increases their chance by a lot since they actually show their commitment for valorant by buying out such a big roster.

Liquid needs someone like FNS to igl and flex. They already have a coach so liquid really needs to scout a good player for that role.
Honestly they should just stick together for lcq. The disappointing result might be caused by the team not having that team synergy that they had for 10 months when nivera joined

posted about 3 years ago

no problem for you think that. You got a team from a region that had a very weak showing in the start of 2022 going to playoffs vs the 2nd team in the 1st masters in 2022 while not even dropping a map in their own region stuck in groups.
Honestly I think Kru and NIP equally deserve to go to masters, but just for LOUD I hope NIP win

posted about 3 years ago

u mean fpx?
But I still hate that liquid and fpx were so close and if liquid won they'd lose against fnatic and go against acend instead, where they could've won and go against fpx again and possibly qualify.
Unfortunately Team liquid aren't at their prime rn so even if they go they'd get destroyed

posted about 3 years ago

Korea:DRX 3-0 Maru
Brazil: LOUD 3-0 NiP
LATAM: Leviathan 3-0 Kru
EMEA: Fnatic 3-0 FPX
APAC: Paper Rex 3-0 Xerxia
Now let's see if SA LCQ is going to be another 3-0
Literally 5 out of 7 regions are one team regions kek

If kru loses this lcq, this means the only team to attend every international game no longer exists.
But if kru wins, then we get this group:
DRX
LOUD
FPX
Optic/xset

its the opposite actually, since in similar ranks(assuming no smurf or boosted) player's skill level is similar. However, high ranked player will use util a lot more effective than low rank player, making reyna a lot worse when compared to other agent. Hence, she is much more powerful in low elo since they are very easy to use compared to other agents(Imagine a noob player being able to utilize 25% of an agent's util, and 100% of reyna, ofc you'd pick reyna)

I wonder how hard TrembolaRage would nut if VK won Challengers and proceed to win Masters
Could probably cover the earth in a layer of 42069km thick cum just from Challengers and an additional 69420km from Masters
Mwzera did play well though, shameful his name is disgraced by dick riders like Trembolarage

Valorant
rito indie company not scamming you with ridiculously priced skins and bad ranked/devs
also great community who aren't toxic and sending death threats because of a small mistake that someone did once in their lifetime.
your geforce should be reliably hitting 1000 fps for that game for a smooth immersive gameplay
play Valorant.

you could honestly say the same thing about any team rn about being "explored by good teams". Teams are constantly searching for new strat, new content or not, and being able to win the first legit international major is still better than you hard stuck silver.

in what? Content or viewership?
we all know paper rex isn't in there so there is no content
maybe viewership

I the perfect game for you:

VALORANT

It's free, its multiplayer, its got strategy/abilties/gunplay, and it's made by riot
Perfect for you
definitely won't make you lose all your savings on some overpriced skins and bullshit ranked system/maps/agent balance
you definitely get to engage with a great and non-toxic community who would support you when you start your first game!
Try it out!

NA teams that could win LCQ:
XSET(Assuming not qualify): Looking great with cryocell so far. very consistent top 4 and recent performance made sure they aren't impossible.
Faze(Assuming not qualify): Double firepower of Dicey and Babybay is a massive challenge for any team to overcome
NRG(Assuming not qualify): Looking good so far with the addition with Ethan. eeiu somehow just pulls off insane clips too, and we're not even counting W streamer s0m here.
The Guard(Assuming not qualify): Had a successful run at Challengers 1 and is definitely a force to be reckoned with if they get back to shape. One of the weaker teams though for sure(pls not another sentinel-type fluke)
100T:They've been getting better every match and it's not impossible they improve significantly once LCQ hits
EG: The only team that took a game off Prime-Optic(ik they got destroyed by Optic on rematch). If they manage the pressure of LCQ and potter gets the team together, then they still could win LCQ.
LG: Very consistent team and can prove to be quite a challenge for even a seasoned team like Optic(almost a 11-3 to 11-13 comeback if not for Victor's heroic 3k to force ot). If the likes of bdog and made pop off the whole season then they could qualify to champs ngl.
SEN:(pure hopium here) Less streaming, boot camping, hiring 2 analysts, and getting an entire month to reset from the 0-5 groups result/block out the toxicity of certain people, Sentinels has a great chance to fix themselves with talents like Tenz, Dapr, and Sick. If they actually fix their shit, they could be the one to take LCQ and potentially Champs.(I supported Sen until I switched to Team Liquid after LCQ)
C9: The team played like 2 people down during half of the season(Optic/Sentinels were when they had a great showing) because they got their roles all mixed up. C9 showed what they should have been the entire season against other teams if it weren't for the fact that they had to adapt to a new member. C9 can definitely fix their shit and get back their crown in this spare one month.
total teams that can win LCQ: 8 teams + 1 team that qualified to champs from circuit points

EMEA teams that can win LCQ:
Team Liquid: Double edshot machine ez
Guild(Assume not enough circuit points): They went 5-0 in their groups and qualified to champs. The only other team to do that is Fnatic which looks red hot rn.
m3c(Assume not qualify): They looked back to shape recently if you count out the Guild game. Very do-able by their team with their "No access to site" strategy
FPX: The only team to pose even a challenge to the red-hot Fnatic. Very winnable by them.
Acend: Imagine if Cned finally unleashed his op with Chamber in this one month, Just imagine.
total teams that can win LCQ: 4 teams +1 team that qualified to champs from circuit points

tldr: NA LCQ is going to be a lot more unpredictable than EMEA LCQ, which makes it a lot more interesting than EMEA LCQ. Plus EMEA plays like a fucking turtle compared to NA's playstlye.

P.S: I'm not saying NA as a region is better than EMEA since despite the similarity of team skill in NA, Optic is destroying everyone by a large margin while in EMEA although competition is a lot weaker to the top teams of EMEA, these top teams can easily make games stupidly close to each other and has a pretty close skill gap. In the end, only Champions will truly determine the superior region between NA, EMEA, or even the likes of APAC and Brazil.

Thats not how franchise works(good org=slot, good team doesn't matter unless org spent a lot of money/time finding and buying them)

That just sounds like yay to me

He pretty much only played Chamber and look at where Optic is rn

One dimensional isn't bad as long you're great at that dimension and if your team needs it. TSM didn't need it, but optic does(hence why they have yay)

posted about 3 years ago

You got NRG: relatively low firepower but good strats
And you got Faze: relatively high firepower but no strats
Then there's optic: high firepower and great strats
And then there's Sentinels: no firepower and no strats

Overhyped my fucking ass. Go ask some of top 8 teams in SEA and they'll definitely say we could be a contender for the masters slot. We are scrimming them on 120+ ping and making it close and even beating them. Every top SEA team we have scrimmed has high respect for us knowing the damage we can do on the ping we have yet alone what we would do on low ping. We are not like Bonkers or Soniqs and it takes one vod review to see that. I hope to change all your minds when the time comes but for now have some respect on our names.

It wasn't a blow
I feel like they strategically threw against acend to face liquid over m3c and once it's in the real playoffs they'd full sweat and delete acend

posted about 3 years ago

Honestly idk why its structured this way
you would think that since EMEA gets 1 more slot than NA that they would have more teams playing in the playoffs.
Instead you have 8 teams fighting for 2 slots, and 6 teams fighting for 3 slots. NA has double the team to slots ration than EMEA.
EMEA really should have 8 teams fighting for 3 slots and NA have 6 teams fighting for 2 slots.
