I feel like they just lost the level of play that they were capable of playing at after losing to fpx with seider and all of the players just started to become stagnant. Also not to give excuses, but the players said that throughout their time this year they had to face with a lot of difficulties whether it be network problems or having to do stuff with the org that made it difficult for them to consistently practice. If I recall correctly, they only had a couple weeks to practice before champs (other teams had a couple weeks as well, I mean like significantly less than other teams)

ive always played a lot of ow until I stopped playing recently and just watched owl. but ow2 just feels so much easier for me to just jump into to play and have fun. also it feels so nice to see people actually play this game and have fun again it feels like I've forgotten how it feels for people to be happy and playing this game

even if you are just talking about the players then the slander is still valid because although yes, a roster like this with a good coaching staff can compete, this is not a risk that should be taken into franchising especially when these players aren't the best available. This roster isn't as good as you say it is. This core have competed in the apac scene before both historically and recently and have not in able to compete in APAC as a whole. Now the problem is that better players like the 'indo superteam' that people keep mentioning may not find a team because this slot is used up on t2 players.

edit: +this is the PACIFIC LEAGUE. there are only 10 teams in this league. this is not a time to try an experiment that may drag down the overall quality of the league especially when the info that you have on who might actually be a good upcoming player with potential is so scarce because there have been no competition in 2023 challengers and ascension yet
