the thing is that even though the models are much larger, they are also inconsistent throughout the cast the characters move way faster and they move all the time because you can shoot and move at the same time. so players have to be able to shoot moving targets while they themselves are moving. OW is also a much faster game, I don't think CS is particularly tougher or easier in general when compared to OW, but I think OW is a much more intense game because there's always something happening so players have to be focused the whole time. this is one of the reasons why players burn out so fast and one of the complaints people have for OW as a spectator sport, aside from the fucking lack of content, of course.

nah he will 100% struggle to find a team if he goes back, OWL is franchised and by now all the teams have finalized their rosters, and any team that wants to find new players won't be looking towards players like zombs who never made it to tier 1 overwatch and haven't played for 2-3 years

Q: does he deserve all the hype around him
A: STATS

mwzera https://tracker.gg/valorant/profile/riot/VK%20mwzera%234324/overview?playlist=competitive&season=all
cNed https://tracker.gg/valorant/profile/riot/ACE%20cNed%23carry/overview?season=all
TenZ https://tracker.gg/valorant/profile/riot/SEN%20TenZ%230505/overview?playlist=competitive&season=all

DEATHMATCH STATS
mwzera - 86% win rate (thats the insaniest thing ive seen in a while)
cNed - stats not availiable
TenZ - 73% win rate

RANKED STATS
mwzera - 66.3% winrate (MVP of 95% of the matches) proof here https://imgur.com/StiJmpg
cNed - 53.5% winrate (MVP of 13% of the matches)
TenZ - 60.4% winrate (MVP of 15% of the matches)

can you take your time to appreciate how insane mwzera is? without a doubt the most talented player to ever touch the game

I'll try to explain briefly why I think he is the best player in the world
Despite his insane aim and movement
The best way to know if a player is a good duelist is RAZE. There is a BIG difference between a good duelist and a jett abuser
If he is a good duelist, he needs to be good with raze.

heat? not good with raze
aspas? not good with raze
xand? not good with raze
tenz? not good with raze
cned? not good with raze
scream? not good with raze
d3ffo? not good with raze
derke? not good with raze

Thats why I think he is undoubtely the best player in the world. If RIOT by any means decides to nerf jett and shift the meta we prolly not gonna even hear names like cned and tenz again :>
He is not killing 40+ per map because when he joined VK he was forced to play a different role because heat is already a main jett... and lets be honest, every single duelist nowadays gets 20+ kills per map because team and setups are basically built around you (even steel managed to get 20 kills with it https://www.vlr.gg/29398/sentinels-vs-100-thieves-champions-tour-north-america-stage-3-challengers-playoffs-gf/?game=46692&tab=overview)

only 10 teams is dogshit. we've been complaining for the longest time that there aren't enough teams in masters and now riot just decides that the regional franchised leagues that will play for an entire will have even fewer teams. wtf is this

Zeta had one cinderella run and now all of a sudden Japan is the best region? Even better than Korea? No way dude, just because Zeta may be the best team in Asia and has the best result doesn't mean the whole region is at their level. Zeta did not play as well as they played in Reykjavik locally and were still way better than everyone else in Japan. Japan was a one-team region even before Zeta became elite the rest of the region has not shown that they are nearly as good. Now that Zeta is elite, they can definitely catch up, but you can not say the rest are as good because Zeta improved outside of the region. Both Korea and SEA have had better results and have sent more great teams internationally.

This question is just completely irrelevant tbh. Top valorant players play valorant, not quake. And even the former cs players shouldn't be compared to cs players anymore because that's not their game anymore. The discussion is irrelevant because these players succeeded in valorant because they understand the valorant-specific aspects of the game on top of having great mechanics. It's also basically impossible to answer the question anyway because there is no relevant metric to measure mechanical skill that encompasses all the different skills like flicking, tracking, and movement altogether. So there's no way to reliably answer the question aside from the eye test which is inherently biased because they are different games and these different games have different mechanics and fundamentals.

yea i kind of hope that foreign orgs with more money can pick these players up so that they can stay in the scene. there are a bunch of players who are considering retirement but are clearly still good. i don't like that it may cause the development of the apac region to slow down, but I really want these players to stay

yea he said he this was his last year because competing is too exhausting and the pay is not good in sea. he has a degree in general chemistry so he's probably somewhat set.

yh foxz said himself on stream that pati played by himself more and surf plays with the team more which he did not say which style he liked more as the igl he just said that both were really good and different in their own way

the part u said there is no beef, idk man. we were hella salty back when ae beat fs, and don't yall remember when we attacked indo and ae for no reason after the xerxia and bleed situation lol. its a lot of toxicity between thai and indo fans at least in valorant which is stupid but its also sports and competition. not saying I condone it, but also not saying I don't participate in the silly shit from time to time
