i'm agreeing with you lol, I'm just asking the other guy where he thinks the last shot should've went in that situation if not going heaven

that causes another problem. say whilst the turret was finishing its 3 bullet burst, another player goes into the view of the turret, should the turret finish its burst on the first location or switch to the new player? If it doesn't switch then people will call that another bug.

exactly.

Let's say hypothetically the turret's default position was to look straight at the generator. When the turret shoots its 2nd bullet back to default, when ANGE1 jiggles out of its view, the turret would shoot its 2nd shot straight at the generator and no XSET member would bat an eye cause there obviously wouldn't be a player there.

It was just unfortunate for XSET that the turret was positioned so its default position looked at heaven.

Not enough for a replay in my opinion, just unlucky turret placement by AYRIN.

'more effectively' is vague, it just means it should be better than before.

to me it seems ANGE1's movement was so fast and so close to the edge of the turret's 180-degree view that it flicked back to heaven.

yh its a heat-of-the-moment thing that XSET overlooked (it was match point for FPX). in my opinion it was just unfortunate turret placement by AYRIN and there shouldn't be a replay.

the turret always shoots 3 bullet bursts, when ANGE1 moved behind the turret, where was it supposed to shoot its last shot then?

the thing is they can't even call it a bug, how is riot supposed to 'fix' the turret mechanic in that situation?

Where should the turret look if ANGE1 went behind it, where is the turret supposed to look when he jiggles back in?

How are you supposed to code a working turret mechanic that doesn't do what it just did in-game because it did exactly what it code told it to do, lock onto anyone in its view and ANGE1 went in and out of its view. His movement clearly shows that he wasn't trying to abuse this mechanic either.

FPX can't be robbed of this win because of that.

This is what I saw:

Remember the KJ turret has a 180-degree view, it can't lock on to players behind it.

The first jiggle out activates the turret and it shoots one bullet.
He jiggles back behind the door of the wall and the turret locks back to default and shoots its second shot.

He jiggles back out even wider and the turret shoots its 3rd shot heaven as he is behind the turret's 180 view as he swung so wide so the turret goes back to default and shoots heaven.

You're asking why it didn't target him when he was 'in the open' it's because he was behind the turret's 180-degree view.

This has been a feature for so long, I don't think FPX's win should be taken away because of this.
