Everyones saying how nerfing skye is like buffing gekko, but nobody is talking about how this is going to increase fade and sova pick rates. We already saw how Fnatic dominated Lotus with only a single initiator in fade and we are seeing how good the sentinels Sunset comp is with fade. Sova used to be a must pick on Breeze and Icebox (always a must pick on Ascent). leaving only split where fade is definitely a really good pick.

Right now it doesnt look like the meta is going to change very severely as there isnt an agent that is as OP as old Chamber. At the start of 2023 there was a huge meta shift due to 2 reasons : (i) Chamber got nerfed hard making him not viable on most of the maps. (ii) Harbor was introduced and he had good util.
We didnt have any agent absolutely dominating and getting free kills this year and the new agents we got are Deadlock and ISO ☠️There will certainly be new interesting comps coming next year but the old comps will still be relevant and wont feel like those comps fell off meta.

Sentinels definetly wont have the meta change problem because, first of all they defined meta on sunset which means theyve a very good idea on the meta. and second they are a veryyy flexible team, even in the past few months we saw tenz go from initiator main to controller player, pancada out zellsis in- its not like they had the most consistency role wise.

The reason why Sentinels will be good next year is because during afreeca TV they showed every player was fundamentally good and understood team play and team fighting. It looked like every single person was on the same page following the game plan which is far more important than sticking to meta. Proof of which is old FPX (NAVI), they didnt play a single meta comp during 2022 but they won a championship because the players made a really good team.

1) They didnt play teams that were as good as the teams at AVL.
2) They had Sean Garres coaching till like a week or two before he left.
3) Cryo on pre nerf chamber
4) C9 had a lot issues for which we have proof now.

Fnatic also won an off season event last year and everyone started saying theyll be the best team. were they wrong? rofl

Its not right to say off season means nothing, if a team shows that their chemistry, synergy, strategy and if it looks like everyone understands what the game plan is during an offseason event or whatever then we can definetly expect such a team to do really well in the main league.

a rare aggressive omen player in T1. Usually we'd see only one or two aggressive omen plays in an entire tournament. but my guy mistic showed us so many in just one match.

Its hard to judge boostio considering he has never led a team to the top of even regional tourney. This was the only year where EG have looked like a good team cuz of a lot of factors - Potter stepped up big time, 10 man roster meant better prac sessions, and ofcourse my kings Demon1 and Ethan 🥵 Also boostio has said that his calling takes a toll when he doesnt frag well which i dont believe is a good sign for a leader.

fnatic literally came up 2nd in the first ever valorant tourney without any superstar aim gods on the team. They defined the bind meta of using viper molly for executes, they defined fracture meta. You my friend have clearly never seen pro valorant so please refrain from coming to this site. "fraudulent talent starved region" has more trophies than any of the other regions (Gambit at Masters 3, Acend- Champions, FPX- Masters , Fnatic got 2).

Bro started watching VCT when EG won the world championship and started writing paragraphs on vlr 🤣

I see people are thinking to replace Redgar, but the truth is, Redgars calling in the Haven game was actually pretty good. Liquid took the site and planted the bomb multiple times, they managed to hit the weak site most of the time, and Redgar knew where to put everyone. The problem was liquid as a team seems very indisciplined. We saw them lose a 2v4 on Haven attack where Aspas had an OP on retake. The only changes that team would require is a new coach and a proper info initiator instead of Soulcas.

the problem is deph isnt good at site anchoring like pancada is, thats the reason why they brought this change in the first place and it makes sense. Pancada is a great site anchor. Unfortunately its not possible for them to put Marved on the team as he still hasnt gotten his visa apparently.

This could go so badly cuz all these players speak very different languages and with different accents. the comms are gonna be so hard to be picked up for the players.
