If it's something crazy like X10, I'm done.

Btw the actual lineup for playzone for this game is: Feeqn, roxie, HighKitty, SUGABOB, iluri

Can't wait to see some of the superteams coming out of these moves.

These games are never getting played

I just want to see mwzera at lan vs scream.

Excellent decision. These teams didn't qualify based on breeze, so why should they compete amongst each-other on breeze? Maintaining structure throughout qualifiers and the tournaments teams qualify for is important.

If they're getting 2 slots, they are obviously changing the format to double elim though.

I'm watching Shroud's restream and they're talking about AR gaming for bidets where the objective is to clean shit from other people's asses like it's aimlab. Is this normal?

Also if you are a SEN fan, you better be thanking Riot for blessing challengers 2 with double elimination.

posted about 2 years ago

I think that's reasonable. But I also think the way it's currently is probably the best for what information the production had at the time, when it comes to regional diff and how dominant VS was at the time.

In Masters 3; BR gets 2 slots, KR gets 2 slots, EMEA gets 4 slots, NA 3 slots, LATAM 1 slot, SEA 2 slots and JP 2 slots. At least that's how it's now.

posted about 2 years ago

When you add one slot you have to take one from somewhere else. The question is; where do you think would be appropriate to take 1 slot from?

SicK's preaim is out of this world tbh

So fucking deserved. They're forming to become VS 2.0 right now.

Can't make this meme comp work twice.

I want to say you can't extrapolate anything from this game, but seeing Jamppi "only" suicide dash in 1-3 times is refreshing.

The goal is balancing between trying to not piss off bettors causing a matchfixing drama and trying to have fun.

posted about 2 years ago

I mean they aren't bringing out any crazy secret things, the comp decisions seem trolly and some plays are obvious over-zealousness but overall they're at least trying.

You can not extrapolate anything from a single series irregardless of if it has incentive or not, so that's just basic.

Unusual performance for boaster & mistic on icebox.

Fnatic look like the real deal. Fantastic set plays and the awareness is watertight. They only really get messed up, when the opponent avoids their info-gathering and their overconfidence leads to their death, like with Gambit.

posted about 2 years ago

I'm not saying they should be in the same qualifier lol... I'm saying they should compete among each-other actively.

posted about 2 years ago

Imo TR/CIS should be actively competing in EU. No need for segregation when the teams are that good. Unless Riot wants to avoid creating a super-region.

JUP had some insane plays with the Yoru. The way Laz plays around the tele with his OP is great. But CR just persisted.

If CR want any chance at the international stage however, they need to pick up the Astra/Viper ASAP.

posted about 2 years ago

Munchkin took this into his own hands on bind damn.

Edit: Some of those plays man... They'll be hitting their heads if they don't win after that position.

posted about 2 years ago

Reject got the Viper on Bind... If they play this right they should take it.

posted about 2 years ago

Right. The problem is, that they're not starting on the same footing.

posted about 2 years ago

Damn that was C9B's pick too. It honestly looks like they are wasted, they are just not making any good plays. V1 are basically having a FaZe smeag type of run. They're aggro and overrun the other team.

My question for Riot is: Why not have this game tomorrow along with the grand final, which is arguably not as important?

Nuturn takes this easy... Please....

These guys are just swinging and hitting.

The thing is, SEN doesn't change lineup-wise often, in this tournament for example, they've run the same comp on every map they've played, which makes sense, because the tournament is so short. But in general this holds true for all other tournaments, except challengers 2. The main reason for those changes aren't really fundamental beyond the macro switch to the Viper/Astra. Zombs is carrying them hard in this regard, playing both the Astra and the Viper(dapr picks it up for bind).

They change their playstyle and timings. The way they read and dismantle teams are largely in that realm. That's why I think EU should be worried on one part. But on the other hand, this is true for pretty much every EU team; watching VOD's and figuring the opponent out, antistratting etc...

Generally whenever regions clash in a new esport, it's rarely very close. Some regions may get pumped up, because they only play amongst themselves and get exposed in internationals. I feel like this was the case for Turkey in EMEA and could be the case for NA in Iceland. But you never know, Sentinels look good and they could just literally be better, than Liquid/Fnatic.

posted about 2 years ago

I was impressed at times. But some of those rounds and the way they transpire do not give me confidence, that NA will destroy EU in Iceland. Idk, literally no one knows until the first few games get actually played, but I'm already having a hard time envisioning, that NA>EU.

If I see 1 good Viper postplant on attack from SEN I'm happy.

posted about 2 years ago

100T 13-3'd SEN on Icebox. SEN only recently started running the Viper, so let's see if they've gotten more prac on it. C9B on the other hand haven't ran it at all. Could be that they get rolled here if SEN has been prepping.

posted about 2 years ago

Sen has a 70% def win % and 49% attack win %. C9B has 64% def win % and 39% attack win %.

Edit: That Xeta 5k is about to throw that 70% into 0%.. I would not pick split after that.

posted about 2 years ago

Before everyone loses their marbles, keep in mind, that this is a heavy def side map.

GGs.. I predicted liquid & fnatic to go to grand final... But not like this...

posted about 2 years ago

What are Fnatic doing on bind? They're overconfident in their reads and gambit are playing like jesters.

posted about 2 years ago

WHAT WAS THE FIRST ROUND LOSS THO LMAO

posted about 2 years ago

The stuff that Fnatic has pulled out so far is literally perfect.
