if I had to guess its so more NA people watch it
but that doesn't make much sense either since the games overlap with NA
I can't see any other reason tbh

feels like this match is straight out of champs 2022 (in terms of hype)
If you're waiting for the next Americas match watch this OT between KC and VIT
this map has been a gigabanger
lmfaoo
you couldn't have posted this at a worse time
honestly its kind of crazy
that this match embodies pretty much every problem in tier 2, and even some tier 1 problems (specifically the visa thing)
when in peak form I agree
but it feels like less' aim is more consistent
thats crazy
I was planning on watching it live after this ðŸ˜
i think someone from the top of the company made the decision since it was financial related
but now that I think about it, fnatic were the 5th best selling bundle, so now that really shouldn't have been an issue
my guess is someone with power got angry in a meeting or smth because the decision doesn't seem rational
''son i used your college tuition to buy a boat'' ahh
I know you guys have a whole 'tipping culture' but I had no idea you tipped cashiers too, I thought it was just restaurant servers
yup, glad to see he's improved
I think he's still got room to grow, but that's a good thing in my eyes
if we play that abyss comp again i wouldn't be surprised
this isnt a region exclusive thing, people tend to overreact when they're happy
just let people be happy, what a weird thing to police ðŸ˜
ok map 2 brought me back down to earth
but i fw vitality heavy
yeah this is 100% the new bind meta imo
at least the dl + vyse minimum
the future of corporate advertising is just to have anime mascots and that scares the shit out of me because of the fact that it would actually work on a shocking amount of people
lost a lot of rounds to time
also had to save a lot because of time
:(
i saw someone asking about them earlier today and literally bought them off of the post lol
I can't speak for others
but I've been fnatic since literally the start (with a small TL interlude)
but this vitality team is the only thing that's ever really made me consider jumping ship
ik its a copypasta which isnt meant to be taken seriously
but I think there's more to it than meets the eye
EMEA is geographically a much smaller place than Americas (which is also split further in to LATAM + BR), the sports culture here is entirely different. We're more 'tight knit' if that makes sense. That's not to say there isn't internal rivalries, ofc there are
the macro doesn't seem bad tbh, I like most of what I'm seeing
but we can't even see the micro, they're just shooting everyone in the face ðŸ˜
listen man
we as a region haven't seen this much firepower concentrated on one roster since prime 2023 fnatic
let us be happy ðŸ˜ðŸ˜
holy shit
I might just jump ship
I've backed fnatic since the dawn of vct, since even before they were signed
but this, this is just wow
maybe im just overreacting because we lost in a horrible fashion and the fact that VIT picked up Derke gives me an escape
imo they're the best team (which no longer exists) to not win anything
closest thing was lev last year, but they didn't go purely off of mechanics
sounds obscure because of how they performed but maybe you could even have 2023 SEN in that convo if you go only by title count
my suggestion when building a team like that would just be to not focus too much on existing roles and pick up the best aimers, and develop them in new roles if necessary
but you gotta admit
it is so satisfying to see a team just win everything by melting their enemies with raw aim
but I'm guessing money is also a factor then. Because why on earth else would you bench Derke in the first place
But the issue with that is that is then you don't want double dome, it's not ideal for that
this comp tries to do too many things at once
either you commit to a slow comp or a fast comp, I think what they tried to do here gave us the worst of both worlds
this is why I think the comp is bad: the idea is to play slow, the classic EMEA style. But it just doesn't work when you don't have passive info with KJ or ideally Cypher. Tejo seems like a gimmick on this map, and imo is mid at best, but the fact that Alfa clearly wasn't comfortable on him made it straight up bad. Kaajak was often messing up his tp timings which led him to be untradeable, he could sometimes bail himself out because of his aim but I really wasn't impressed
I'd flame him on 2 things. (and I say this as someone who wants the team to improve)
The abyss comp, I personally really hate it. I think it sold the map
the calling on the second half of split (somewhat fair enough after a certain point, since you're mentally boomed)
abyss was really bad, we choked on split but I think the abyss comp sold the whole series. 2 smokes no senti + tejo is not the play imo
kaajak can aim but his decision making really needs improve, especially on Yoru he has a tendency to tp in too early which makes him impossible to trade
chill out bro
no need to get so worked up over a vlr comment just because you don't agree ðŸ˜ðŸ˜
