We haven’t seen a CN team besides EDG really go deep at an international yet. TE did alright but never at any point was I convinced they’d come top 4.

usually it depends, i like to upgrade every 5 years or so but you can get away with longer if you have the right parts

the thing is also the 7 5700 is kind of just flat out not a great option if im being honest

I would suggest going for the Ryzen 7 9800X3D, this is more expensive (basically double from what I'm seeing rn) but this is really the gold standard in gaming CPU's right now. There's also the 7 7800X3D which is the last gen version of the 9800X3D, you may find it's a bit cheaper

You'd also have to consider that games get harder to run over time, even games like Val. Around launch I would get 200-300 FPS on my old pc, but around late 2023 that became more like 150-200 FPS, since in general when they add things to the game it becomes more demanding to run (they've also announced they're moving Val to UR5 which should also increase load slightly)

i think maybe you should look in to finding a better/newer cpu, since the one you've selected is AM4, if you want to upgrade it down the line you'd have to replace the motherboard, ram and maybe PSU

The CPU is also most responsible for your frames in games like Val and CS2, so I would suggest if you have a fixed budget maybe consider compromising on other things (likely your GPU) to upgrade your CPU
