I don't think Riot updated the ruling because of backlash. They just made yet another mistake and miscalculated the rounds in the first ruling and had to redo it. Apparently, vk won only 3/6 of those cam rounds, not 4. So only 3 can be overturned.

Riot could have had the same exact ruling with Acend winning the bo3 by saying the map is forfeited by KS instead of saying they're giving the rounds away 1 by 1 for Acend to win with some hypothetical adjustment for economic factors.

It's weird and dumb. if you don't want to adjust the scheduling for us to see them compete for the REAL win that half, then just dq that map's performance for Keyd

No, I think the real problem is that they chose to arbitrarily adjust rounds vs making them replay the half or forfeit the map in general. They could have had the same exact effect of Acend winning the bo3 by saying the map is forfeited by KS instead of saying they're giving the rounds away 1 by 1 and by pure chance, Acend happened to get to 13 rounds (after adjusting for a hypothetical economic factor). That's just SOO dumb

FNC should've stopped the flank retake after it first stopped working since it started to condition VS to watch flank with 2 or 3 bodies. A regular retake would've worked after that point lol

Probably cuz sponsors come and go and they're basically ads in a name. Freely promoting said sponsors isn't ideal since they don't have deals/contracts with vlr.gg, liquipedia, Riot, etc to do so. That'd be like us saying "prime gaming flawless" after a flawless round which nobody does except people at official riot productions (or streamers for jokes).
