Riot vs Valve = different philosophies.
CS wants “IGL + 5 players solve everything themselves.”
Valorant wants “teams + coaching staff + adaptation.” Neither is wrong, they’re just different design choices.
Mini isn’t a cheat code. He can’t win a duel for Forsaken. He can’t clutch a 1v3 for something. All he does is help the team refine strategy — which every team has access to. If G2 wanted Mini, they could’ve signed him too.
Roster/coaching changes mid-year happen everywhere.
CS has emergency player/coach swaps.
Dota, LoL, CoD — mid-season transfers happen constantly.
If Riot allows it under their system, it’s within the rules. Period.
CS better because stricter?
Cool, CS has legacy. But Valorant’s different because it has agents + abilities that’s the point. Complaining about that is like whining that basketball isn’t football.
And lmao about “bigger events” — Champions 2023 filled Kia Forum, Champions 2025 filled Accor Arena in Paris. Riot’s events are just as stacked.
PRX were already world-class.
They didn’t magically become insane because Mini sat down.
Mini just reduced trolling, gave structure. The god-tier firepower was already there.
