World cup semi finalist next?
Im ngl, I thought there was a higher probabilty that SK makes top 4 than tottenham making it to champions league a few months ago
I believe
the only way korea get to a world cup semi final again is if they cheat their way there like in 2002
cry. we had some decisions that favored us but tbh if u look back at the match Italy vs S.Korea, Italy didn't play that well so smh
not denying that whatsoever. they were poor, but a poor Italy would probably still beat Korea no?
that squad was the best squad we had in history. We beat Poland, and Portugal and drew with the US, bringing Spain to the penalty shootout. But yea Italy should have won but it's football. But I'm just saying that because of the ref's decisions the squad is underrated by so many ppl
not denying too. That squad was the best korean squad in the history. But I'm being realistic
well realistically that italy squad will beat that s.korea squad literally 8 or 9 times out of 10. But unlucky ig. maybe with VAR things would have been different but back in the day those faulty calls were quite common
just that whole tournament had like 10+ major faulty calls and almost all of them were for Korea so a bit fishy.
Cry + farmer's league + couldn't even carry ronaldo to anything + ratio + tottenham owns your entire league
It's hard to play great when the ref gives one penalty against, one red card, one goal nullified... and then what about the spain game?
lmao totti's red card? He was already falling even before any contact + ref's awful decision happens almost every game. England vs Germany, in premier league it happens so often even with the usage of VAR. Holy shit it has been 20 years man move tf on
the player took out totti's standing leg, it was analysed multiple times after the match and its well documented, you say "it happens almost every game" cmon bruh, don't be disingenious, its literally one of the biggest refereeing scandals of all time, even the referee admitted his mistakes.
Holy shit it has been 20 years man move tf on
lmao I was barely an infant, you're the one taking a bait and doing the most insane mental gymnastics to defend the obvious
lmao. I didn't say that ref did not favor korea. All i said was yall weren't that good relative to the squad, ref's awful calls but not ALL the calls were bad, with VAR things would have been different, and seriously, cheat their way? lmao but seriously, move on if you were an infant lmao. and wtv i say won't go through your thick skull so... just go watch valorant
Back then we had 0 soft power so people just viewed SK as a cheating country
Dw about the downvotes
Fr. downvote me all you want ppl, I'm defending that squad and achievement
son is the greatest asian player. i love him. hopefully korea does well in wc and takes asian football forward.
How does the golden boot award get decided if two people have the same amount of goals?
given to both jointly. both salah and son have won the golden boot, but in my books son deserves it more because he did it with 0 penalty goals.
depends on the league. some places go for assist differential but in PL they share the award. imo son deserves it more because all 23 were from open play.
No one who plays for fucking Spurs can get any of those glories. Also, Spurs run on 2019 UCL was a fluke
not quite sure how its a fluke when you beat, Dortmund, Man city and a very hyped Ajax team which still had de ligt etc...
