They don't care about replay system. They only care about making skins so they can make more money 🤑
progression system and player behaviour modifiers being a bigger a priority LMAO. At least snowflakes who get upset about mean words will be able to track how many kills they got on their phantom skin
Its actually laughable that Volcano contributed a lot to innovating the spectator tools in early csgo days, but now works at riot who doesn't want to implement a replay system yet.
league is dead now is valorant as expected from the company of envy the success of others ( Moontoon ganbatte )
In short: VaLULrant Devs are all low tier and that's why they can't do good shit. vaLULrant only good to sell skins and nothing else
why are people so mad about this? imo it makes the game more competitive when you cant definitively rewind every single round and see every player's perspective + individual lineups. makes the game a lot more reliant on you actually using your brain to figure out what's going on
Then how would you know how to counter those certain lineups/plays? It helps alot in the future for yourself. Rotation timings, utilities, lineups.... everything helps
you wont know how to counter them, thats the point of making it more competitive. by disallowing people to essentially mold themselves solely around the playstyle of pros by watching them, this makes it slower for skill caps to rapidly increase
Where the fuck do you want the game to go to, I cant see it nor comprehend it. And plus learning how to counter it is the competitive part wtf are u on?
Your logic is to make sure it becomes crystal clear how every single pro player plays every single match, every single tendency can be determined and every single lineup found with ease. How exactly is countering something you have complete information on making it a more competitive game? It makes it easier, if anything
If they are that predictable theres no way these pro player would be pro players. Even with knowing the tendencies, they will not always win the duel since its a shooter game first and foremost.
Ok, so then why do you need to watch their VODs then? If it isn't to know their tendencies, since you just said it doesn't matter that much, what is the point of watching a VOD back?
Thats the point bro, how did that guy entered the site? Did I not put a trip there (if im playing cypher)? Was it my fault for not holding that angle? Or was it just pure timing?
If your gameplay can be copied by one VOD review than it shows you dont have enough depth in your game. Also everyone knowing lineups would help with developing everybody's gameplay, therefore making for better matches.
Nah- if an analyst wants to hard counter yay in their matchup, he can just watch 10 VODs of one map and figure out his tendencies and counter them specifically. Also, if you can’t take the time to make your own lineups and you need to just copy off of other pros, you clearly have a work ethic issue
bruh, how is it a work ethic issue? WARDELL said that he follow Mixwell's style of oping and try to implement it to his gameplay. Sure some lineups you found yourself will be useful. But there are general lineups would be helpful. With your logic, all sovas should be at different areas aiming at different dots in the sky/wall in order to land in the same dot. Its sound 100% stupid and inefficient.
If you want general lineups, go to YouTube and find some general lineups. There's a lot everywhere. It wasn't meant to be easy to figure lineups out
I get what you're saying, that it's easier to have VODs so people can just watch where they are, but if that's the only reason to implement VODs in Valorant, that's kinda a shit reason
Of course there are other reason for VODS, one of them is to look at your own perspective throughout the game. Back in CS, it helped alot. At the time, I realise that sometimes I peeked abit too early before adjusting my crosshair placement. My crosshair is not accurate enough to snap to the next entry point. Those type of stuff. VODS to learn how the enemy behaves is also helpful
Before graduating a month ago, I was captain for my university's Valorant team- we just recorded our own individual VODs to review our gameplay with a third party program. It makes sense to watch yourself back, so you can see bad tendencies, I definitely agree; but I don't know about the need to watch other teams from their perspectives. I think it makes it too easy for your strategies to get broken down and copied, but it still happens anyways
This is bullshit dude... Liot is a fucking shit company
Replay system is a NEED A LONG TIME AGO feature not a "maybe" feature
Why everyone make a big deal out of this like they actually use replay lol
what. i wanna be able to confirm my suspicions about my braindead teammates in ranked. oh and maybe some pro players will use it too i guess, not that important for pro play tho, more important for ranked really.
I used to watch my replays on rocket league, fortnite, and cs all the time, it was the fastest way to improve.
They are catering to casuals, and those casuals don't care about a replay system.
