Untrue. You can lose stars based on your ratio. Happened to me, I went from 4 to 2 because of a lot of downvotes. A great example of this is raka and NSG observer, who are probably the most active and, simultaneously, the most hated, they have 1000 posts, 1000 downfrags, 0 stars.

It depends, so far I'm looking it's going down the same route. NA vs EU threads for starters and the constant belittling of Counter-Strike as a boomer game which I hated the current CS(hltv) community for when they always talk trash on my 1.6 threads. So far I'm looking VLR.GG is heading to hltv in a couple of years because it's just identical. I guess communities just get toxic every year.

Also vlr needs some funny baits, this place is to dull haha.

Also one thing I love about vlr.gg is they copied the +frag -frag system from GOTFRAG and also the stars system.
