spent the last few days on swiftplay only, and ive realized all of the friendly social people with mics have migrated here from what spike rush used to be a few years ago
spike rush now is actual idiots and the newest of players
feels like unless youre high elo comp or something, only the most miserable people tend to gather in comp and unrated
amazing gamemode but pretty one-dimensional if your team manages spawns
also no one talks :( same ghost town energy as spike rush now
personally im never a big fan of these gimmick gamemodes, but i've been really impressed with glitched gauntlets.
ive deadass not played anything other than comp and tdm for like 4 years now
you're not missing out on much, i at least give each of them a try when they first release but the majority of them are ass. if i had to tier list them, glitched gauntlets is A tier, tdm is B tier, swiftplay and spike rush are C tier, and all of the slop modes like escalation, replication, etc. are F tier.
i like the snowball and the mode that make your whole team play same agent
yeah Replication was a ton of fun.. not sure why it's the only non-seasonal gamemode they've recalled
riot wants everyone to be competitive, they forgot games should be fun...
also I haven't seen the snowball mode for 2 years, not really sure if it still returns every xmas season
i dont really play anymore, i just watch
