Correct me if im wrong but the meta isnt different at all from EWC rite? The map pool will be slightly different with the new map but other than that most comps on most maps should be the same
So would it not be reasonable to assume teams that were competent in this event will play well in their subsequent groups and make a run?
Not necessarily. PRX literally placed second in London but got grouped in EWC (though I’ll admit they may have been tilted). Plus, teams coming from EWC have less prep time and more footage on them.
