Becuase the ccp passed a law stating that people under the age of 18 can only play video games for 3 hrs a week. As you can tell, that's clearly not enough to be even master by 18.
so what happens in val next year? 17 year old can play in tier1 from next year but what if some masters event is in china? and would 17 year old chinese players be allowed to play professionally?
a 17 year old from a diffrent region can still play internationals that are in china. I am pretty sure the valorant chineese rookies are like in their 20s im not sure what their ages are cuz valo players aren't so popular like league
There are still some delusional people left. No idea how some of them still have any hope left for their regions.
And Vietnam does care about league esports but they are just lck glazers. They are like kpop fans.
