Im playing this game again after quite some time, im a cs player so last time i played i was making my game stretched using the device manager method, but now im hearing that it doesnt work anymore apparently, and people are stretching their game by editing the config in the game files, but like half of the community is saying this is bannable and they got banned, while the other half says it works and they didnt get banned.

So is it bannable? Are there any better unbannble ways to stretch the game?

no, you can literally see players playing true stretched in vct

yes they actually did ban stretched res because "it's uncomfortable for viewers to wach"
so theyr playing on ingame ones

i mean they banned it for vct players, u still can use it in game
