Very unfair for Lev an NRG to have barely any prep time for an international while china, apac and emea have it way better. Big nerf towards americas for no reason.

whether they made it or not is irrelevant. They themselves would be way better if they had the same time as others regions. They also got lucky facing another team WITH THE SAME ISSUE.
LEV could be way better with the same amont of prep time that apac or china had. They are now still in a disadvantage compared to every other team in playoffs
how is this cope? Its a clear issue that has happened before to other teams too? Americas shouldnt have started that late at all

All I can really say is that the teams NRG lost to had a similar amount of time to them (FUT had 2 more days, LEV 1 more). I think ewc can't really be put on Riot since they aren't running it and have no real obligation to change schedule for that.
The bigger issue is the fact AMER started later than the other regions, China aside, there is no real reason AMER should've started a week later than EMEA and APAC
same thing happened to EMEA in toronto, you can’t tell me liquid wouldn’t have made playoffs if they ended the same time as americas or pacific
FUT's situation isnt the same. They had a week in between EWC, where they had plenty of time to prac the new meta (which lev and NRG didnt). FUT is also in the same region where the event is placed so they dont face the same travel issues/burden NRG or LEV had.
But main issue is legit americas just starting so late. Braindead move to do that

Yeah it's kinda ridiculous to call this cope, plenty of people were discussing this as a reason to be low on Americas before the event even started (Elevated made this point on his podcast previewing the event). It's just common sense that a team with only a couple of days to prepare (factoring in media days, a day spent travelling...) is going to be at a disadvantage compared to teams that had a month to spare. LEV are just good enough to compensate for it, which they shouldn't have to be to make it through Swiss.
It is? NRG and lev had around 5-6 days to prep for london and if you include media days etc it could even be less.
5-6 days are not enough. comparing that to VIT, GE, XLG etc etc they were in a clear disadvantage
Disadvantage maybe, but all the mistakes I’ve seen so far have nothing to do with prep
