You would think that with all the unnecessary hirings Riot does and the amount of people they have employed, they would have stumbled upon someone smart enough to explain to them why regional matchups in the 2nd round of swiss is retarded..... but since they hit a stupidity jackpot i will do their job for them
The only reason to allow regional matchups is because regionals is still better and makes more sense than rematches, thing is, rematches can only happen in the 3rd round so there is LITERALLY no reason for allowing regionals in 2nd round except sheer incompetence

no nobody got mad, but then riot said screw your 3 hours of preparation and everyone got mad
no and its not even rigging, the same way they switch up the teams in champs group stage draws to make sure every group has 1 of each region, they just need to do the same here
