If NS win this masters, will it be widely agreed upon that Korea is the best subregion in the world? They would have won 3/6 of the most recent internationals.
Obviously NA would be arguable as strongest sub region as well.

like literally every other korean team will have an actual shot at winning a trophy before DRX
GENG did it in their first international (they rebuilt so i don’t count lock/in), T1 same thing, and now NS looks primed to take the trophy home

It's a very developed country and esports literally started there and the culture for esports is biggest there. It would be embarrassing if they wouldn't be good at esports. It's somewhat like India being good at cricket.
watch a youtube video about it, they implented this industry started from internet cafe culture since the beginning of 2000s using fast internet as their seed and china copied their system in 2010s. now they run the esports industry like its robots and even have a degree for esports athletes. It's all systematic.
Yeah but China declined tho cause of the government gaming rules and mobile gaming boom. Esports is huge there but still not as big as it's in Korea too.
china never declines, they diversify, maybe in one game theyre bad but they still dominates mobile games. korea barely diversify, and they treat mobile games like japan using it for gacha games industry (profit minded)
Yeah I was talking about pc gaming scene. Also it's kinda crazy how much match fixing and cheating there is in chinese esports scene. Another reason they are declining.
