APAC sub region ranking

After following VCT APAC for a long time, I can roughly rank the sub-regions like this:

1. Korea – As long as Jake Sin is running things, it’ll stay number one
2. Indonesia – Has both competitive orgs and strong players
3. Thailand – Dominates SEA Tier 2 and has good players, but got ruined by Jake Sin starting with the pilot deal, giving exclusive rights in Thailand to SOOP, and also choosing FS as the representative
4. Japan – Has funding and sponsors supporting the scene, but the results still aren’t good
5. Philippines – Similar results to Japan, but without the money
6. Malaysia / Singapore – Has PRX, but the talent pool is still lacking
7. Mongolia – Consistently performs well in Tier 2, often beats Vietnam, and beat MTV today
8. Vietnam – Seems strong, but always loses to the top seven and hasn’t even beaten Mongolia yet
9. Taiwan – The weakest zone in SEA Tier 2, though many players are in VCT CN
10. Russia – Not actually APAC, just putting it here at least there are many strong Russian players in APAC
11. Kazakhstan – Also not APAC
12. India – India

there is a MASSIVE tier gap between thailand and japan

I mean vlt beat the best jpn ph and thai team so you can't seriously tell me that they deserve the last spot.

Japanese players also seem just very comfortable being tier 2 JP Valorant since some of them get paid alot just to be mediocre there so you could say there is no incentive for alot of them to even make it to tier 1 cause they are making alot of dough just being in their tier 2 scene
