They needed the reality check that their comps dont work and they need to deepen their map pool. After these losses they need to give a rest to their players maybe till the end of February and start praccing hard after that.
Nobody remembers 1st event winners anyways. Just look at every award thats presented by VCT itself and Tenz awards, Champs and 2nd masters are always way more important.
For example instead of having a year like Vitality did last year where they just go thru regional just by pure individual talent, do fine at Masters then crush and burn, its much better to peak at the 2nd half of the year after learning lessons at the start. I bet nobody even mentions Vitality had a great start last year, everybody remembers them as a failure.
