I've said it before, from how Nbs and Sgares talk about this team, this core is going to be around for a long time on 100T, just gotta do what G2/PRX do and consistently pick up a better player when available

also this team makes Masters 2 only to choke champs qualification lmao...

Joke post aside I think the core SHOULD be around for a long time, but the core has shifted from Asuna/bang/Cryo to Timo/Vora/Cryo now.

I think my main issue with Asuna is that I think the guy just shrivels under pressure in a way that 6 year veterans shouldnt. I hate hating on the guy but in the 10 series 100T have played to end a stage/ global event during the franchise era, he has gone negative in all of them.

I get he's a great teammate, and selfless, and all of his teams and coaches love playing with the guy but there comes a point where the process/ practice should be ignored in favour of the results. Like I said I hate using the same scapegoat for years now because every time it just feels like dogpiling onto the easy target but it genuinely baffles me how long of a leash the dude has

as for bang, idk man the guy is good but it just feels like we know how its gonna play out with him (and Asuna by extension too). Hes gonna show up, make some cool plays but ultimately fall short.

What I hate more than most is that we were promised a rebuild but it just feels the same as always. Kickoff was definitely better this year and maybe im being reactionary but it just feels like we were promised a "new look thieves" but we decided to run it back with the core from 23 and 24 and surprise surprise! the same issues that core had back then reared their ugly head.

but yeah, everyones always gonna be reactionary after a loss so maybe I change my opinion but it is what it is

They need to get rid of Cryo. Time and time again the best teams have multiple players who can play a bunch of agents (NRG - ethan, keiko, skuba, G2 - Leaf, babybay) and Cryo just isn't it. We have seen his ceiling already. Time to move on.
