To a degree, stagnating the potential of DRG? Either the coach isn't interested in playing Viper comps whatsoever, or vo0kashu just doesn't wanna play Viper. The point is, I think that the alarming lack of Viper in this current meta could be detrimental for DRG.
This post isn't meant to depreciate vo0kashu's value within the team. He's definitely one of the better players in the region, but I simply am not sure of how far one tricking Cypher can take DRG in this meta.

Typical nathand team. Insane firepower but ass discipline and obsessed with some weird picks and comps. And the team wins games based on their firepower against weaker team and some people think the comp suits the team or is viable long term.
VCT CN has really just made a big leap over this past year. Shooters alone can no longer carry you through a match.
Yes I do see the 53 matches, and this probably (definitely) is on NathanD but surely something's gotta give (lowkey sack Nathan)
Bruh like everything bad with this team comes from their coach even puting Spirit on Reyna on two maps, his timeouts have done nothing of value aswell which is insane. Like this guy cant build comps or call strats. His the current downfall of DRG. Like even as a All Gamers fan if DRG had an actual coach they would of won bind.
Yeah but I also don't want to see them implement a really really disciplined coach. I feel like their current playstyle makes them fun to watch at times (and extremely painful at others)
I agree however I think we both know that Alecks a very disiplined coach had sucess with a agressive team like this but also not making stupid decisions.
Vo0kashu is doing okay, its SpiritZ1 that should just stick with Yoru over Reyna. And Nicc on Gekko is troll too imo.
Well the thing is, Vo0kashu is goated on the agents he played during his stay in china apart from the viper. I am not saying that he has a bad viper. Give him some reps and he will do miracles. But I think NathanD is not risking bcuz he wants instant results. Thats why he is crafting comps with cypher being the constant.
vo0kashuu is very flexible. The only real agent pool restricitions there are on this team are with Akeman (kinda problematic if you want my opinion) and SpiritZ1 to a lesser degree. But the only real reason for the terrorist comps is and always will be NathanD. Which I'm personally fine with and don't think it really limits their potential (maybe the bind comp is a little too much tho), but I understand why so many people are very critical of him. Imo he was way more problematic on FPX and has seriously tamed himself down and goes for much more reasonable comps (reasonable in his own referential, they're obviously way crazier than the standard team)
DRG is ascension team at the end of the day. Not making champs = fight in ascension all over again (in the past). 2026 is more crucial cause no details are mentioned about who's the partnered teams for partnership 2.0 in 2027 and if ascension team this year will all be relegated. Last year DRG make champs, if whatever DRG doing now works with vo0kashu, don't change it.
