PRX AND G2

I actually think both the teams improved their rosters. Jonah was really lacking in firepower in many parts of the year, and it always felt like the missing piece holding them back from an international trophy.
Invy has been one of the best players in APAC for a while now, and is 100% an upgrade.

I think the importance of vibes is overrated, and these players are not known tilters or anything. I think the problem and reason why they're losing is that the playing field has levelled up in general, and all teams are much closer now. On top of that, most of them have studied top teams like G2, PRX, FNC so they're kinda getting hard countered now. The utility nerfs don't help teams with good fundamentals, and make the game a lot more raw, reducing the skill gap. Fun to watch but I'm not sure if it's the best direction to take.

Might be wrong lmk open to discuss

I completely agree with you about the vibes argument with regards to G2/PRX, like both teams are established rosters with their players having already together for multiple years, the belief that the removal of a single person just completely kills the teams vibes is nonsensical.

However, I think whether or not the teams have upgraded is a different matter entirely since in G2's case the "upgrade" came at the cost of losing one of Americas' best flex players and causing role issues. And PRX lost Patmen's util (may or may not be better than Invy's idk enough about each player).

Tbh, I expect both teams to still make Santiago and think they'll only get better with time.

retweet, ofcourse the worse teams spent all their time in the offseason to counter these specific teams.
