It’s a metaphor about NRG’s emotions after the devastating news the s0m retired. Skuba and Keiko are unchanged due to either the lack of time that they had with s0m, or because of, in keiko’s situation, how he didn’t play with him at all so the emotions aren’t that deep. Ethan obviously has to keep a brave face in such a situation so his picture isn’t changed. Mada took it pretty hard as he lost someone who he has been playing with since his first introduction into tier 1. S0m was somebody that would hype him up even during his worst performances. It’s hard to get over something like that. Brawk obviously took it the hardest. When he first joined, he took over some big shoes (verno) and s0m was always there to comfort him despite the rough initial performances. He will recover but it’s going to take some time. Truly a beautiful depiction of grief from the VLR staff.
