with breeze almost certainly returning i wanna create a comp that i can use for when my college esports starts back up, and I would like to see if it could be improved upon or if it needs to be redone wholly
the one we ran today was:
astra
kayo
jett
raze
sage
ik there might be a few obvious ones and I alr plan to talk with the rest of my team about them but if there are any things vlr wants to suggest im sure they'd be willing to hear
Too big a map for raze util to have value I think
Sage is situational since a chamber or cypher is better on breeze
Astra over viper is interesting
No scan initiator? Sova?
I normally play smokes but can flex so I could probably play chamber
downside is I currently have boaster type aim and cant hit a shot to save my life so fear I'd screw smthn up
If your aim is struggling then lurking on chamber or smokes might not get you value if you get killed early
On the other hand, if you play sova your util can help your duelist entry so that your job is more trading them out which can maybe tolerate a slight aim dip
But idk I’m not pro
my ass stays as far away from initiator as possible
I do NOT have the brain capacity to know that I just place my funny little smoke orbs and then do my thing
breeze without sova is a death sentence, raze cant satchel very well and sage is also not very good as u kinda have to wall a all the time
cypher sucks nowadays ;-; if halls is actually closed he wont be meta on the map i think
Blind and tp
Blind can help a lot of angles and the tp can be used in a lot of places to get in or out
Yeah they are, I’d need to measure to make sure it’d work but there’s multiple places I can think of that the blind would be useful like elbow and yellow box but there’s a couple more I just don’t know the name of
Especially since the nerf. Breeze is pbb the only map in the game where playing omen is really not justifiable
Honest? 3/10. No way of gathering info or fighting for space quick and leaving. Raze is too commital and her nade/bot gets little value. Jett is good if your duelist can't play Yoru or Waylay, but, Yoru and Waylay are better. Astra but no Viper? I would say to tweak the comp without killing its identity:
Jett
Viper
Sova
Kay/o
Chamber
But to be honest, even I don't think this is meta, this is just the closest I could get the comp to be flexible and playable on Breeze.
id switch out yoru for jett, i think yoru is veryyy strong on breeze and then id probably try something else than kayo, probably an astra
I agree for sure. I just don't want to change everything about the comp. I have reads on Breeze but I made this post as a suggestion to OP to help their style of play run on the map rather than giving them 5 agents I think would be best. I'm not making anyone play Harbor because I think he's good on Breeze, you know?
Changing Jett to Yoru feels like I'm changing the way the comp plays for the duelist and Initiator, and I'd rather just, not do that.
if im being honest, im pretty much the only one who knows breeze on the team because it's one of my favourite maps, and the rest of the people on my team aren't hugely familiar with it, so we mainly just ran comfort agents in it today (except me on astra, I just remember she's good for this map)
im sure they'd be fine with playing what would be considered the "best" with a bit more practice, so feel free to suggest whatever you think would work the best
I think there's a few archetypes, but I think the easiest would be:
Waylay
Yoru (or KAY/O if your ini cant Yoru)
Sova
Viper
Chamber
Play classic Breeze. You have a ton of fighting tools and space taking and flashes and recon and mollies to set your hit up. You have 3 strong OP agents on the best OP map, and strong early info, especially if you run Yoru who can instant TP off of said info.
Just play the GenG comp or even a generic Double init comp atp. This one is just really bad.
Hell even the Prx Copenhagen GF comp is better than that

Viper
Astra
Neon
Veto
Kayo
Neon + Kayo for entry and aggresion
Viper + astra for full map coverage of smokes, lurks, and post plant
And veto for his info/util denial, long range tps, and his site holding capabilities
On attack, you can default towards mid mainly
And on defense is mostly neon, astra mid, kayo halls, veto on the site with pyramids, and viper on the other site. Neon plays fast rotate with a sniper
I havent played breeze in a while so this might be trash
Best comp gonna be:
Viper as Senti
Astra for Execute
Can go with Waylay/Yoru depending on playstyle
Kay/o as 2nd duelist (Can try Veto here)
Sova for info
Having no trip means this team has to watch halls at all times on defense, and I wouldn't want a team that is probably not the highest ranked to be weary of lurks at all times. That being said this is a solid way to play Breeze at a higher level.
