Just admit you don't have ball knowledge, and that you are an uncultured swine.
They can be both frauds and incredibly impactful, it depends on when they get their kills
they don't exist in this game. The closest to being a real op crutch I've seen is yay in 2025, but even then he was a beast with the deagle and wasn't even put on op roles most of the time. I can't name any other "op crutch" who is not a good rifler.

Aspas obviously has a great rifle
Only Yay has a shit rifle but still.
We're not in CS, this game revolves way too much around rifles
i think awp crutches are the most skillfull players and tallented and anyone who says other wise is untallented and a bot awp crutches are also cool af
they're overrated one tricks. They get so much glaze for holding an off angle with a one shot weapon (and they get to insta tp or dash away). Their team deserves all the credit for the amazing set ups and adjustments they have to make for them
I do agree about the team deserving more credit part. Awpers are indeed highly dependent on their teammates for consistent success.
